Got the Vamo and AGA T+ today!

My first attempt at setting up coil and wick hopefully I got it right lol. What do you think? Seemed pretty simple in the videos I watched so jumped in!

Searched here a couple of different ways and could never come up with a decent how-to!?!? YouTube had a few videos but nothing real specific. "Oxidize coil, move wires a little to make coils glow evenly, check ohms and add fluid"! Not sure what to do if ohms too high?

Looks like you have hot spots. might try tweaking the wraps a bit more. Should not glow red when wet.

1.7ohm coil - 3.7-4.0v or 7-10watts

The good thing here is you have adjustable voltage to get the coil as hot you need to, as soon as you need to get a satisfying vape. If you are vaping right now you are off to a great start. I got a SS vamo2 an aga t+ and an igo-L, today

My 5th coil attempt was finallly able to produce vapor, and ended up at 2.1ohms. All in all I'm happy with it. I think it'll take some practice before my rebuild jobs are enjoyable to use but on day one I built a working coil

Ok So now, I watched your vid, You definately have hot spots. You need to remove the wick, re oxidize(i do mine with a torch small torch)then wet the wick with a little liquid, set that liquid on fire(3times or so) allow it to burn while holding the wick horizontal(this helps build a coating of Oxidization) then re wrap the coil, bend the top inward toward the post to minimize the open area between the post and wick. Fire dry, watch where the red stops(that is where the short is hapening) move the coil, re-try until the whole coil glows from top to botttom. This should get you started, but keep in mind the genesis is a fickle bioch, so hopefully you have an easy to use device available while you are getting the genny going...
