Edit: I keep tweaking and it's getting better...

Ok you guys...what am I missing here? Got my first KR808 a few days ago.

When I take the slow drags that's been suggested, I get nothing - very little vapor, no taste.

I tried refilling a couple of different carts, and it's the same thing only a little bit worse. :(

When I take the same juice that I've refilled with and put a drop on a 510, I get good vapor and flavor.

To get a decent hit, on the KR I have to puff until my face hurts. 8-o

I know it's me because everyone raves about these, so what am I doing wrong?

I'm using a fresh battery and I've watched the refill video and followed the steps and the only thing I had trouble with is keeping the hole in the center open. I keep pushing the filler against the walls, but it's not as clear as I'd like it to be.

Thanks for any/all help...

JustMe, what is the power source? Regular battery? Passthrough? Long battery? Does the draw seem hard?

It is a hard draw. It's an automatic KR battery - came in a kit. I keep tinkering and it's gotten somewhat better, but I'm still pretty sure something is off with what I'm doing.

Funny thing - Yesterday I had this metallic taste/feeling in my mouth that was driving me insane - Then I realized I was dragging so hard on it and puffing so often that I was continually clinching the carto between my teeth. I've added a rubber whistle tip to it and that's helping.

I have tried several soft draws the way everyone suggests, too, and it's made no difference.

Still not getting the flavor/hit that everyone else is getting, and as of right now it's inferior to what I get w/my 510.

If you "dragged" on it to the point where the outside of the cartomizer body has gotten quite warm.. then the carto is probably shot. You've got to keep them cool, and give them time to cool down between drags. Else the coil wrap and filler inside of the carto can and will be come burned. They never work quite right after that.
