The used mini i purchased is a little funky. I noticed a few times that when I hold the button in to vape, it would cut out (vape would stop and LED would go out) and then cut back on. It doesn't do it all the time, but I know its not supposed to do it.
I went to clean everything real good (per the instructions) and I noticed that the plastic button is loose, doesn't seem to make good contact with the button on the board like my new one does. So hopefully they can fix her up and give her a once over.
Sad thing is, I know its less then a year old, but warranty doesn't carry over. Hopefully it won't cost much or else used won't be such a good deal anymore.

This is only thing I can find that is wrong, everything else looks tight.

That's a bummer. If someone here can't give you a tip to try to fix it, I can put your mind at ease - the cost to repair won't break the bank and they have a reputation for fast turnaround. This is from Provape:

Replace Window and screws- $10.00
Replace Circuit Board - $65.00
Upgrade to V2 - $20.00
Replace plastic pushbutton - $5.00
Repairs to the circuit board - $25.00
Cleaning - $20.00
Replace top cap - $15.00
Broken Cartomizer Service - $10.00

How are you pressing the fire button? I know that sounds like an odd question, but the ProVari button has to be pushed directly in the center with constant pressure. If your finger/thumb slips down the side or you relax and aren't pressing it as hard for a second, it will stop firing.

I sent mine back because after two years and 257 drops the top cap with the 510 connection got knocked out of place and didn't fire. They only charged me $20 bucks to fix it including the ship back and upgrade. Because of that, I got another one. All the other brands that I have bought the last three years, none of them lasted more than six months.

They do have a tendency sometimes, to drop in and out while taking a hit. Not because of the unit, but because the battery can't keep up. You might try a new AW Battery if it happens all the time.

I push it as I do on my full size one :D

I get what your saying, but the button has been a llittle funky since I got it a few days ago.
The new one I purchased last week, that one is solid.

I am in no way bashing my mini, I bought it used, it has a little issue and I want it working good as new again. I know they will take care of me and the mini!

I didn't think you were bashing it. I hope I didn't come off as defensive over something that could almost be a flashlight, it's just that people not pushing the button in the center has come up before (with other mods too). Considering the other threads that have been posted, it appears there may have been something off with the buttons in the last run.

Received notification that its on the way back. Due to signature, I probably wont have it until Saturday.

Provape never updated to explain what was wrong, and they never asked me for money.

I will see what its like when I get it back.

Whatever it is, this is a top notch company! Customer service at its best.

And THAT is probably one of the best reasons to make the investment in one.

Just to follow up, picked up my mini from USPS today. Been vaping on it ever since.
Provape is awesome, they didn't include any statement on what they did, but the board no longer wiggles and all seems to be well.
The button is more sensitive vs my full size, but it must be the nature of this beast. They didn't charge me anything, they just fixed me up.
Not sure any other manufacture is going to back up their product like this. Kudos to them...
Now time to sell it so I can get another full size!

Sorry robo74 about the problem your having :(
I hope it all works out for you. :)

There is a lot of good Info on this thread I am glad I stopped by. :toast:

The problem was minor, they sent it back all fixed up.
I don't think the button is now an issue, I think I am just comparing it to my full size one, and there is a different feel between them.
However, The more I use the mini, I find a different feel between the mini and the regular size as a whole. The mini is just not my size and I think I prefer to Vape on the full size and then buy another full size for backup and so on and so forth :vapor:

I really love this company, because they stand behind their product 100%... This is a great story, and a great reason for anyone to consider buying anything from ProVape... Even the old school ProVape-1

Yep..im hooked now. It doesn't get any better then this. Well, maybe it will once I get my tank from ibtanked. Order Tuesday and haven't heard a darn thing yet!

I think they've gotten a little overwhelmed. I know they went to a vape meet recently and I had my tank before I got a shipping notice. Lol!
