I just received my first order from Got Vapes, which included a pack of Regular 2.8-3.0 Fluxomizers and a pack of XL 2.8-3.0 Fluxomizers.

I'm really disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality and usage of these clearomizers, especially since they're touted as being "time-tested" quality and "optimized" to ensure "the best possible vaping experience."
The mouthpiece cover and the inner rubber ring are nearly impossible to remove, which need to be removed in order to fill the clearomizer carefully with a syringe or similar small nosed device. I've shredded at least one rubber tube struggling to remove it.

Putting the rubber parts back in aren't as grueling, but if I don't do it extremely carefully and sufficiently, then some liquid might leak into the air tube and CRACKLE POP up comes a quirt of searing hot juice. Other rubber parts have slightly torn but they're relatively intact and usable for the most part, but some are just dangerous since they spit out hot juice and that hurts. Don't blame the user for improperly reassembling an already poor-quality and defunct product.

Enclosed with each box of FLUXomizers is a Usage Guide. The usage directions are not very helpful; they do not even show the same product. Since usage directions are intended for inexperienced/new users, it would be helpful if the images and directions were more similar to the enclosed products.

Granted the guide does show a cartomizer, but the colors and materials are not nearly the same as the enclosed product, and since new users are the ones who need these instructions, then the guide is nearly useless. Having a solid chrome cartomizer shown in the guide with white/clear rubber innards is confusing when the FLUXomizer rubber innards are black, but there is still a white inner plastic tubing and white wick. The metal cartomizer pictured in the guide is confusing because the reflections of the white background and person's hand make it difficult to accurately interpret the photo.

The guide does not state tweezers or any other device are needed to remove the mouth piece and inner rubber ring, yet it does suggest the use of pipette or flexible trip syringe to fill the clearomizer. This is to say that the guide does note certain extra tools to use and yet it excludes other essential tools. Granted there will be excuses that it's only a generic guide and apologies for outdated or poor quality photos, but the criticisms above are still valid, especially when safety is of concern for any product.

Enclosed with the clearomizers is a syringe tip along with a cheesy rubber mouthpiece.

I appreciate that both of these items were individually wrapped, since the syringe I bought in the same order was just on the loose disassembled and not enclosed in any sanitary wrapping.

If I could I'd like to return them for my money back or at least credit, but there's a big red warning on the product listing stating no returns or refunds.

I really don't think these are quality items and therefore should not be sold, or at least not have such positive descriptions touting the amazing properties of such devices. I'd expect this quality from a Chinese power-seller on eBay perhaps, but then their prices would be even cheaper and I wouldn't feel as bummed (granted I can't get these on eBay, but I've gotten other cheap items direct from Chinese eBay sellers and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality). I know these cartomizers are made in China to begin with, but with choosing to buy through Got Vapes I'm paying for the securities associated with buying from a domestic merchant.

I commend Got Vapes on the fast shipping, especially since I ordered during the Labor Day holiday weekend. The packaging was sufficient, it did its job of protecting items in transit. As noted, though, I found it unprofessional and unsanitary to enclose a loose unprotected syringe that I ordered. The prices are reasonable, but I was not satisfied with the quality of items I received.

And what's up with no personal acknowledgement of my order comments, or a handwritten "THANKS!" on my packing slip? And no free samples? I've been spoiled rotten by The Plume Room and other smaller vendors. :p Got Vapes does have a large variety of items, so for that I can't say I won't be back. But I do wish Got Vapes' website had a Wish List. That thing would be full. :)

Thank you for your time, and I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions on how to manage these FLUXomizers.

I can't comment on the fluxos, since I've never used them, but they do have a wish list, it's called Favorites. You need to be logged into your account, and then you'll see an Add To Favorites button on each item.

Your favorites list is on the left bar towards the bottom.

Once in there, you can put in the quantities you want and have them added to your cart.

I use this all the time.

HTH.

Oh, and they usually send candy with orders, but it's been too hot lately.

As the saying goes: "One man's trash is anopther man's treasure" I guess. Fluxomizers have been my "go to" for over a year. I've been using them for the last several versions, and they have just gotten better and better. Granted, removing the neoprene cup seal can be tricky at first; but with the proper tool, and a little practice, it becomes easy. I use a dental scaler, with a short 90 degree bend at the tip. Depending on the version you have, there are several threads and videos showing the procedure for removal, reinstalling, and any modding that might be necessary. The neoprene seals have changed over the last couple versions. Personally, I like the ones with the "nipple" seal best.
IMO, nothing vapes better than a properly prepared Fluxo; and with frequent care and cleaning, they seem to last forever. But, they aren't for everybody. They usually do require some modding.

Oh nice, I see the Favorites button. Thanks! And perhaps since I didn't order any juice they didn't want to give me any food treats since they didn't know my tastes. :p

Thanks, I'll check on some of the videos and such. I want to like these things, but so far they're nothing but headaches.

I've been using Fluxomizers for over a year now and I really like the way they perform. I can get at least a good month out of them with no issues.

One thing I've had great success with to remove the neoprene cup seal is to use a small straightened out fishing hook. I just push it through one of the small holes by holding it with small needle nose pliers and push it in just past the barb and pull it out. Works like a charm. I never put it back in anyway but could if I want to because it doesn't get torn up. Before I did this I'd spend a good 10 minutes trying to get it out and tear it up in the process and every now and then I'd destroy the whole unit. I was never very happy with myself when I did that but it was always my fault when it happened. Once I figured this out it takes just a couple of seconds and I've never destroyed anymore units.

I hope this helps some people that have had problems getting these things out. They really are a great product!

The worst thing about fluxomizers is that they have to be modded. I suppose you could just fill and go, but they are sub par out of the box. Of course, the best thing about fluxomizers is that they mod so easily, and once you find your Nirvana (and yes, there is Nirvana in those tiny tubes) these are excellent. I may try some other cartomizers, and I do like my Grandes, but I always have fluxos on hand.

My method is to pull out and toss the small ring. Then I lift out the rubber cup seal with a piece of paper clip snaped off at the curve to make a small 'j' shape. Next, I'll pull the tube off. I take a small piece of wick (2 inches or so, and usually clipped from an old fluxo) and just lay it directly on top of the coiled wick. Then put the unit back together, pressing the cup seal just to the edge of the wicks. Since the small ring is gone, the cup doesn't have to completely sleeve the wicks. Then vape.

These things are a staple in my stable, and always will be. They require a little TLC, but make no mistake, these are time tested, reliable, and a favorite of many vapers.

If you don't mind a little fiddling, these will be a favorite of yours when you find your style, If your not inclined to fiddle at all, you may want to look at something like a phoenix bottom coil.
