OMG, that would *totally* freak me out. I'd be frantic about the rubber getting stuck in the intestines and forming an obstruction. I had a cat and a dog that happened to - *not* fun... Well, the cat had eaten a large rubber band, and that particular dog (a Golden with a death wish) swallowed a shoe insert whole... But I'm understandably, I think, paranoid about indedibles being eaten! :shock:

I had to do the heimlich maneuver once on my old black lab. He was choking on a piece of rawhide and my wife just started screaming and freaking out. So I started doing it and she's screaming at me "You're going to hurt him, can't you see he's choking!". Well 3 squeezes later out pops the rawhide and that was the last time any of my dogs has had a rawhide.

Oh, please, tell me you got some pix of that! :lol:
I don't but I should take one!

And I'll take one of him and a pink sock one of these days!

:lol::lol::lol:

I had an airedale years ago that would eat unbelievable stuff. Almost had to have surgery once when she ate a pair of pantyhose. Vet made one last effort, and was able to extract them.....he bagged them up and said he was sending them to his ex-wife.

Yep, tennis balls don't last around here either! The get de-fuzzed, broken into pieces, and then eaten! :shock:

Funny thing is, my big guy can easily hold 3 tennis balls in his mouth and it looks hilarious! One thing he LOVES though is little pink socks! I'm not kidding! Literally he never picks up any socks other than little pink ones (not bigger pink ones, not little white ones, JUST the little pink ones!) and he doesn't chew them, just soggifys them and carrys them around. To him they're cries for attention! What makes it fun though is that his mouth is so big, and the socks so small, that sometimes you don't even realize he has one. If you don't notice though he'll eventually spit enough of it out so that it shows and then the fun of fishing a soggy sock out of his mouth begins!

Would love to see the tennis ball pics! Uhmmmm why exactly do you have little pink socks Mike?? hehehe j/k, but no one else asked........so I had too. : )

Good luck on that, think I'll have a bowl of tapioca pudding :)

Tapioca? Yummmmm... Love that. Haven't had any in much too long. Think I'll go and get some later today. Still in the insomniac state. Maybe I'll take a sleeping pill and risk being zonked all day. Sigh. Need to get *some* sleep...

Do they make tapioca pudding vape? Or will it just be like another vanilla custard, you think?

Hmmmmmm what is it about insomnia and tapioca?? I've had a total of 12 hrs sleep over the last 4 days, so I'll toss my hat into insomnia ring also. But just made some tapioca a day or so ago. All the days are running together so I don't know when it was. lol Hadn't made it in years. Briar, I'd send ya some if I had a clue where deposit is. lol

Ooooooo... Home-maaaaaaade... Hey, I might just take you up on that - Deposit is right smack in the middle of NYS on the banks of the Delaware, where it's still a pretty small river (East Branch? West Branch? can never remember...). :) It's a funny name for a town, but in times past they used to float logs down the Delaware and deposit them here - hence the name. We still have a Lumberjack Festival every summer to commemorate the town's origins - a real redneck affair. LOL It was actually a rather thriving town in its heyday. Now, as all the villages around here, its barely holding on - about a thousand people and going downhill. Had two catastrophic floods in the last five years - the first ones in 300 years. I had to be rescued off the second floor during the first one, with my dog, my cat, and my parents and their two cats. Can't tell you how much fun that was. That's why we live up on the hill now, about a mile out of town. No floods here, just really bad winds.

Meanwhile, I'm tuning out. If you guys are still up - you win the insomniacishness competition. It's 6 a.m. Good grief. LOL

10 am and trying to pry the computer from my fingers and go to bed. In a way it doesn't count cause I work nights, but in a way it does cause I am getting about 3-4 hours of sleep a day on work days, cause I can't turn the stinkin computer off and go to bed.

Anyway 10 am and still up... I think I win. Anyone else still going? :)
