gourmet vapor with Bloog maxfusion kr808d-1 carts help

Hi all new to forum, i have been using the kr808d-1 model 2 peice type e-cig. i do like em much and am waiting on some Joye eGo 510s. But my question here is..

I bought some blanks from Bloog and some ejuice from Gourmet Vapor. Got my order today and decided to fill 2 blanks.

1 with 24 80/20 Pg Vg mix Vanilla gorillaz flavor and tho it primes good, really harsh vape and lil to no vapor production.

2 with Dbl flav 18 mg Choc/ rasberry 80/20 mix and again no vapor semi harsh throat hit.

Is there a special way to fill these or do i got a bad batch of juice ?

my norm is 18 mg carts.

is it a possiblity that you over filled them and did you "spin" them to get the juice spread evenly, that might help other than that im personally at a lost but i doubt it is your juice. sorry i couldnt be more of a help for ya, hope you get things figured out!-)

You have mixes with a high amount of PG and a little VG. PG is part of what creates throat hit, or the harshness you're getting. VG is what produces vapor and creates a smoother, slightly sweeter juice. I doubt you got a bad batch of juice. Some flavors can have a harsher hit than others and this is normal. I have a Peach and a couple of apple flavors that hit pretty hard. When these are mixed with some other flavors and I use a 50/50 mix it smooths them right out.
When you filled your cartos, did you fill them completely and let them rest for a while so the juice could saturate the filler material? You need to make sure to keep your cartos moist so they don't get burnt. A dry carto can make for a harsh vape. I've never used Bloog cartos, so I can't tell you if they vape more harshly than others.

Ok i knew about the Pg vg mix, but being new to ejuices instead of prefilled i just went with the recomended mix on web site.

these are brand new carts so would be 1st time use fill.

just filled one usin the condom method, letting it sit for a bit.

ok i will thanks. Just watched a steeping video and as all the juice's i ordered are a dark color i will assume they are "ripe" so to speak.

80/20 shouldn't be overly harsh. I use 70/30.

Condom method isn't needed on carts with soft caps - you can just take off the soft cap and fill as intended. Various cartos are different. Did you distribute the juice around the stuffing? And there are some spinning methods to distribute it better throughout the carto.

And what kind of carto do you have exactly? If you bought lower resistance cartos they will be hotter and may be harsher. Cartos for standard KR8 batteries should be from high 2's in ohms (the hotter ones) to low 3's (the cooler ones)
