Grand button sticking, slow to release

I'm a new Grand owner, I own 2 other Woodvils. My grand button is sticking in the down position and continues to fire after I release the button, although it does gradually raise and stop firing. When I take out my batteries, and click the button it actually makes a clicking sound and stays down, but will slowly, gradually go back to the off position. Is it just dirty? Can I wash it? And if so, what do I need to do? Thanks!

yes you can wash it, take batts out, atty/carto off and the bottle too, then you can hold it under the hot water tab and give it a good rinse. after drying re-apply some noalox and your ready to go again. if it's dirty it will be solved

Glad washing did the trick for you. Make sure when holding under the water to work the button up and down. You can also use a ultrasonic to clean them. I do and it works really well. I use vinegar diluted in mine. They come out sparkly clean!

Great to hear that your problem. Some great info here. Way better then what I was going to suggest. Which is a much more complicated method. Not sure how comfortable you are about taking your REO apart though LOL
