I performed an experiment yesterday just out of curiosity with a V4L premium watermelon 36mg carto & 2nd gen V4L premium blank carto. Since day 1 when I got my ultimate ultimatum kit I've noticed that no matter how low the nic level of V4L's PG cartos were the TH they gave was always WAY too much for me & friends that I have gotten started vaping with V4L. Yesterday I decided to do a reverse Taryn spin on the watermelon cart to test if the massive TH was from the juice or the cart or both. Having extracted the watermelon juice I refilled the emptied cart with some 12mg Tasty Vapor blueberry 70%VG / 30%PG & that undeniable TH was still there, needless to say that got trashed immediately. I then took the 36mg watermelon & cut it 1/2 & 1/2 with TV blueberry & refilled the blank premium carto with it. The TH was still there, but tamed down some by the blueberry. However after vaping that cart to the end I found much to my disgust that the bottom of the carto was covered in green oxidization just like you would find on old pennies. WTF is this about? I've been refilling cartos for about 1 1/2 months now & never saw anything like this w/ Halo, Tasty Vapor or Alien Visions juice. Has anyone seen anything like this before & if so what does this mean for V4L PG juice or cartos?8-o

haVE YOU NOTICED THAT TV LIQUIDS JUST ARENT THAT GOOD IN CARTOS? i USED TO LOVE THEM FOR MY 510, BUT i DONT LIKE THEM IN CARTOS AT ALL. jUST WONDERING IF YOUVE NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN THE WAY THEY TASTE?
SORRY, CAPS LOCKED, DONT WANT TO TYPE IT AGAIN.

In my experience with TV I only have 1 Blueberry doubler 70%VG/30%PG & 1 Tobacco doubler 50/50. I have augmented both of these w/ Halo's Fusion nicotine base. IMHO the Tobacco works like a champ! The blueberry is good, but I think the VG level I ordered was too high because it is almost unbearably sweet & doesn't carry the blueberry taste as much as I would like. But their Tobacco @ 50/50 is outstanding w/ the Fusion nic base.

Did you wipe off all the juice from the bottom of the carto after spinning the juice out and refilling? If the base of the carto isn't clean the threads and connectors can get gunked up. Is it possible that it's due to the reverse taryn spin rather than the juice itself?

I've grown quite adept at refilling cartos. Always leave the buttplug in while I'm filling & spinning them. And always clean out the bottom/threaded area before I put them away for future use & always check one last time before I actually thread them on for use. Is it possible that some juice leaked through during use, of course. But even so, I've had occasions in the past where juice has leaked though to the battery, but they usually leave a small amount of blackish residue. Nothing close to that green copper rust.

I''ve reread your post, and I'm not sure how you got to what you're observing. Can you apply Occam's Razor here and remove some of the extraneous information in there?

How exactly did you establish that it was "rust" or "oxidation"? Maybe a step by repeatable step for what you're observing, and a photo(s) of end result?

Extracted V4L WM juice & TV blueberry mixed 1/2 & 1/2. This was dripped into a new 2nd gen V4L blank premium carto. After vaping that carto down to the end it was plainly visible that this green 'rust' looking stuff was on the bottom of the cart & the threads of the V4L manual battery. I can't produce a pic because the quality of my equipment doesn't have a high enough resolution to capture the detail. However, I could tell that it was the same as what you can find on an old oxidized penny because it looked the exact same & what's more it smelled the same.

Well, unfortunately, "looks" can be deceiving. So we need to throw that out until it can be reproduced and analyzed.

Was that a hard-cap or soft-cap V4L Premium blank? And are you able to reproduce it, and then reproduce it with watermelon-only juice, or blueberry-only juice?

The "green gunk" generally left behind is dried flavoring agent that doesn't evaporate at the same rate as the PG. That's common. I don't have TV blueberry to attempt to reproduce that. What coloration does the TV juice have?

Soft cap

Will try to reproduce it later today with solo WM & Blueberry

TV Blueberry is light purple in color.

ANY corrosion is going to take DAYS if not weeks to be formed to start with! I've seen issues with the hard top premo's having glue left on them. The addition of these colors could have created the appearance of corrosion maybe? Really, unless these were left partially in water for a prolonged period, I don't see how corrosion could occur?
