Hi ya River Rat. Welcome to ECF. I personally don't know much about green smoke. If you give some information regarding what it is that you think you would prefer meaning whether it is important to you that it looks like a cigarette or if it doesn't matter to you.

Not knowing much about green smoke I would assume it is a disposable ecig. Most folks here would recommend an ego type pv, personal vaper. They are relatively cheap and are easy to use with a decent amount of options.

There is a Canadian Forum here as well and you might gleen some information from there regarding the availability of gear and juice in your area. Once you have 5 posts and an hour after that you can post a question anywhere on the site. In the meantime I believe you can go there and see what folks in your area are discussing and using.

Again welcome and good luck.

Thanks for your reply, I really don't care if it looks like a real smoke as long as its really good quality, with lots of choices. I am not sure about the cartiridges or juices? hope I got that right? i want something thats easy to use and not alot of messing around, any suggestions? The green smoke ones that I was looking at were recarhgable and has i think 6 different flavors.

I have a Green Smoke unit - my friend is a reseller of their products and sent me a kit to test. Usually I'm an eGo-T and Resurrector cartos user. In comparison, the Green Smoke has a warmer draw, lasts longer than you'd expect for a cig-sized unit (maybe 5-7 hours) and is as good a cig-sized unit as I've tried. Produces good vape too... at least equivalent to my eGo-T and cartos. I haven't tried the Volt so I'm not sure how it would compare to what seems to be the number 1 recommended cig-sized unit.

Their chocolate pre-filled cartomizers were a miss for me but their menthol cartomizers have a touch of spearmint or some other mint which gives it a real nice taste... and I'm a menthol connoisseur so that's quite a thumbs up coming from me. :D

I could use the unit when going out for a drink, but it isn't really competition for something like an eGo or Riva. As a cig-sized starter unit, I'm pretty impressed with it though. You can refill their empty cartos but their prefilled ones, the menthol at least, seems to have been glued on so you'd have to syringe-fill. The empty cartos have a great filler that holds A LOT of juice... far more than my Resurrector cartos, in my experience. I'd still give the Resurrector cartos 11/10 though, fyi. :D

It's a fine model functionally but is KR808D-2 which is thread-incompatible with all of the KR808D-1 stuff. KR808D-1 is the supported threading, the one blank cartomizer makers often support. KR808D-1 is the second most popular threading for ecigs. KR808D-2 is never supported by 3rd party carto makers, however you can get a couple of adapters for D2 at leCig.com in the US.

I'm sorry but the ONLY way someone can get 5 - 7 hours on a Green Smoke is if they are an extremely, and I mean extremely, light vaper. You CANNOT change the physics of battery technology. A 100 mAh battery will provide an hour of "light" vaping. I'm pretty sure that the largest "mini" batteries are about 280 mAh and I don't think Green Smoke is even that big.

For the original poster, I would not suggest you look at a model smaller in mAh rating than 650 mAh. In that category, I would suggest the E-Power 510 (1050 mAh), the Riva 510 or the Kgo. In the long run you will be more satisfied and have less hassle of dealing with weak batteries. These are all better IMO than the eGo because they are true 3.7 volt batteries. They are all about the size of a sharpie or slim cigar. Here are some reputable sites:

Green Smoke is hugely overpriced, has limited flavor and strength options and uses a pantywaist battery (with non-standard threading to boot!) that will wimp out after an hour or two!

If you are not bothered about the device not looking like a 'real' cigarette, want a good, solid introduction to vaping then get an Ego or derivative. You are looking for a unit with: 510 threading (gives the widest range of 3rd party cartomizers); 650mAh battery (gives a genuine 8 hours of moderate vaping); manually operated battery (sealed - so there's no danger of the electronics getting gunked up); 2 ohm cartomizers (such as those by Boge) which will hold enough juice (about 1ml) for a good 5-6 hours vaping; sample packs of juice flavors and strengths.

And, welcome to ECF, eh?

OK here is my take and remember it is what worked for me. I started with an dse 801, penstyle. It was ok. Then an ego followed by a couple of battery mods, a syringe tank and a bottom feeder. They all improved the vaping experience but I ended up with a vv box mod, lovingly referred to as a garage door opener and a dual coil tank.

Variable voltage, vv, allows me to dial in any carto or anything else I throw at it in an instant, regardless of ohms. It is reasonably priced and so far, 6 weeks, works flawlessly. The tank is easy to fill, lasts all day +, and keeps my cartos lasting a long time, 4 weeks and still going strong. My only expenses now is the juice.

Here are some info for you.

madvapes for the dual coil tank: Cartomizers

Just my take on it and it is just a suggestion, others here have valid suggestions as well. Good luck to you and hope it helps.

Do not get a green smoke kit! I repeat...do not!

Here is what I would suggest

Pick up the following items

1 -joye ego starter kit
1 pack low resistance cartomizers
2 low resistance atomizers
A drip tip
A few different flavors and strengths of juice

Go on YouTube and just type in joys ego. Watch the reviews, learn about cartomizers, do some reading and what not. The ego starter kit is the easiest/best quality starter kit for a new e cig user(IMO). It just works and works well. For all of that stuff you will spend around $100 and have enough to go for month e juice wise.

I recomend vapor galaxy because Luke has outstanding customer service and very quick shipping. Others here will give different opinions but for me the standard ego kit is hands down the best intro kit for someone just getting into e cigs.

If you like the KR808 format, you might check out V4L (Vapor4Life); they have a subforum here. I know one of their loyal customers is in Australia, so presumably they can ship to Canada, but I don't know.

I'm pretty new to vaping too, but have been very pleased with V4L; I like the slim KR808 format. Sign up for their email alerts and they usually have sales at least once a week of 30% or more off. And they have so many flavors, you could make a career out of trying them all.

Green Smoke is a rip-off and their customer service stinks. If you want a cigarette-sized mini with an automatic batt (often the best choice for a new convert), I recommend the Smoov. BTW, Smoov 510 cartos are pretty decent and work nicely on my eGo. Oh, and GS uses a proprietary thread size, so their hardware is non-compatible with just about every other product in the industry.
