I agree. Cutting nic in half isn't for everybody. You may even perceive the reduction in dropping to 18, but it won't be as uncomfortable as cutting in half. You can add TH by upping your PG ratio if it's not an issue for you.

My wife graduated from Butler. We have family in your area. LOVE Rhineharts, too! :toast:

you might just have a higher tolerance for nicotine than most. if you want to reduce your levels you may have to buy a bottle of your fav juice in a 24 mg and one of 18 mg . mix the two together to give you a 21 mg. then try a 18 mg as long as you are comfortable.then when you feel ready to step down again get a an 18 and a 12 mg. at this point you may have to mix two 18's to one 12 mg and so on.

most people are successful when you reduce slowly. it helps your chances of not relapsing ...best of luck....... <*}}}>{

I started with 24mg over 4 years ago and dropped down to 18mg less than a year ago. After vaping 18mg for a month or two, I tried 12mg. Now, I'm down to 6mg. Except for a desire to vape more often in the first week or two after a change, I had no trouble at any step in the reduction. It may take a week or two to get used to less nic, but I enjoyed the reduction in PG throat hit as I dropped in nic. The flavors started getting more pronounced and that was a benefit.

I've been at 6mg now since the first of the year and thinking about going lower to see where I need to be to pass the cotinine test for medical insurance premium reduction. That will save me about $200 a month and will be worth the decline in nic.

Mixing strengths to lower nicotine level is sound, I also vary wattage on the reasoning that less heat means less vapour means less nicotine. So when my atty is loaded with high nicotine juice I puff at only 7.5W, compared to maybe 12W or more for some of the 8mg strawberry I sometimes enjoy. Basically, if a vape makes me cough I turn down the heat, or if I hardly notice it I hit the loud pedal. Really, if vaping keeps the smokes at bay the main battle is won, and nicotine is a relatively minor enemy.
