Relatively new to the e cig game, have a few questions. I started off on a mall rebrand 510 clone, and while it lasted me a while the battery life was not good enough to get me totally off the cigs. Now that I have my eGo USB I have a few questions:

1) The retailer I bought the 510 from is obviously a rebrander. They carry several e juices that are extremely overpriced from what I can tell($15+tax/10ml), but they have 2 that I really like. I know the guy who runs this and he is NOT mixing these himself he is rebranding. Since I think it would be in poor form to ask him to give up his sources, I am just wondering what brands they might be? The main one I enjoy is their coffee flavor. The other is a tobacco flavor that is extremely nutty smelling. Any leads will be helpful.

2) I recently bought a batch of e liquids from an online retailer and I hate to say it but they are gross. I won't name names, though since the retailer had great service and ship times. No need to muddy someones name over a difference in tastes. Anyway this led me to realize what I need is some samplers from various retailers. I've noticed that some will do samplers, some won't. If anyone has a list of vendors who sell sample packs please let me know.

3) Given a $100(not including shipping) budget for e juice as a noob, what would you purchase and why?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to ECF and glad you've decided to quit smoking.
Taste is SO subjective. There will never be the right answer for any of us. Many get lots of samples from different vendors and decide for themselves. I love FreedomSmokeUSA FreedomSmokeUSA
I also love BackwoodsBrew Backwoods Brew and there are of course others. You really just have to try them and see. Your taste is different than mine and who really knows what you might end up liking. Also, many of us have discovered that after awhile, our taste change. What we once liked now tastes crappy. Why? Who knows for sure. Sometimes it will go back and I will once again like something, but I never really know what might happen.
Drink plenty of water too. vaping can and will dehydrate you, so remember to drink water.

Good luck.:thumb:

Hi and welcome to ECF.

1) Most juice at that type of e-cig dealer is Dekang brand. You're right it can be had a lot cheaper elsewhere. Try here E-Cig Liquid for Electronic Cigarette, Liquid for E Cigarettes | E Cigarette Liquid Selection including Flavored E Liquid!. They have about the best selection of Dekang juices at a decent price. The nutty tobacco sounds like it could be 555, but it could be something else too, I'm not sure. There's quite a few that are nutty.

2) There's quite a few places that sell sample packs. Try here https://strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65&zenid=li4u846kbh45ij753nofmi8va6. And this one sells sample sizes so you can try different flavors pretty cheap VaporBomb.com.

3) I'd get a starter kit. Liberty Flights has about the best price on eGo's and Riva's, they're basically the same thing but the Riva is a bit less expensive and has a little bit larger battery. The Riva kit can be had for $40, and eGo for a little more. I'd get a couple of extra atomizers, a box of cartomizers, and juice. You should come in way under $100.

There are forums on this site that can help in your juice search. PIF (Pay it forward) is full of people giving away juices they don't care for so you can try them and also the Classified ads section is full of people selling juice they no longer want. Great way to try all types of juice so you can figure out what you like. One thing I found was that I really liked the fruity blends for the first few weeks of vaping but now they make me a little queasy so I know my tastes are being fine-tuned as my sense of smell and taste return. :)

Welcome, I not really sure about the coffee flavor, but it sounds like the nutty tobacco flavor you are referring to might be 555. I bought some from Vapor Kings and it was great. They sell DeKang juice which is a 100%pg base. I use a ego tank with this and get a moderate amount of vapor and a nice throat hit. A fellower worker of mine, who I got started vaping, ordered his ego from FreedomSmokesUSA and got some juice as well. His was a 50/50/blend and he really liked it. I have some Backwoods Brew ordered and can't wait for it to come in!! Hope this helps.

I am under the impression that I cannot interact in any other forums just yet, but once I get my post count up I will check those out

There is a easy fix for that as well..........Just post a hello to several posters and you will get your needed amount of posts to enter the other forums. :)

Syracuse vaper here too!!! hahaha there's a lot of us on this forum it seems. I am still working on my menthol I got with my kit, I bought a lot and fortunately it tastes very good. Got some marlboro flavored stuff too but I'm looking into DIY as well. Say hi sometime neighbor! :)

I find cartomizers are a bit airy for my taste, and I have had my atomizers last me a month and a half or so before I can't use them anymore, i think the plastic in my first one melted. I'd say two on hand is good in case one cuts out on you immediately and you are waiting for your replacement. I like the atomizer/cartridge ombo much better for flavor and vapor myself... And I DEFINITELY recommend buying e-juice to refill your cartridges instead of buying new cartridges... MUCH much cheaper.

Hey nathan.....just saying hi to a neighbor! I can't really give you great juice recommendations since I DIY most of my juice. But I am close by... if you ever need anything don't hesitate..!

Wow, very cool. I want to get into DIY stuff as it seems like the cheapest way and also you get to make things to your own tastes. I would love to try out your DIY stuff, maybe kick you some bucks for some?

Nathan, have you tried the tank atomizers with your ego? that is the main atomizer I use now. I did buy some standard boge 510 cartomizers from VaporKings and they work good and have seen on the forums that the low resistance cartomizers work even better, but for ease of use I still find the tank atomizers and tanks to be the best. I have a couple of low resistance tank atomizers ordered from TotallyWicked and from the reviews I've seen, they are great.

As far as your second question, I would keep a few on hand, so you have a back-up and this will allow you to let them dry good after cleaning.

You've got your 5 posts now so you should be able to post elsewhere. If you keep on vaping you'll need atomizers anyway. I have around 30 on hand but that's probably overkill. I'm just stocking up in case of any bans in the future. The minimum I'd want to keep on hand is 5. Some people have had a string of bad luck and lost a couple in a matter of days.
