Greetings all,

I just wanted to be sure and say a 'formal' hello to everyone here. I've been using a njoy NCig model for nearly 2 years now, and just had the pleasure of speaking with Drew from NHaler over the phone just yesterday.

I was certain my NCig had finally bit the dust after such a long run of loyal service, however after a few tries at some cleaning and some recommended simple mods from this forum via Drew - it's working pretty darn good again.

Thank you Drew and thank you all here for such a great forum and loads of great info I never knew existed until I started searching a few days ago.

Take care,
- Hap

Sorry for the latent reply here - I hadn't noticed much activity and got involved in other posts... :p

Actually prepare to mug because that is one thing I commented on in another related post - I *AM* on my original atomizer.

I used to work as a Field technician. Was on the road a lot, stopped into a discount smoke shop, and the owner had just purchased a bunch of these NJoy electronic cigarettes.

He had one out with alchohol swabs for people to try, his enthusiasm and the initial go there at the store was enough to convince me to give it a try - and I never looked back.

Until several days ago, I never had issues. Just kept stopping by his place for carts and once I moved back to MO here after my dept got axed, I started ordering new carts from NJoy.

When my atomizer went south finally I started looking around online cuz I had finally heard about other brands on TV and radio. Found this forum. Found out just what all I had been missing out on. Called one of the suppliers that sounded like a nice guy - He in fact was and gave me a few pointers on trying to clean up my old atomizer first before tossing it. Lo and behold - it works like new!!

While it was out of service, my Dad felt bad for the wife and I so he bought a Smoking Everywhere at the mall nd gave it to us. We really like it actually and will be ordering spare batts and atts for it online -- WAYY cheaper.

Going to order some juice from Drew soon and will give making our own juice a try. Already have been making no-nic juice w/ VG, dist water, vodka, and flavor. Very nice indeed.

Take care all and thanks for making me feel welcome!
- Hap

    Somewhere between here and there
Welcome! Are you talking about Drew at nhaler? If so, he is an awesome supplier. I have ordered from him a few times and have always been more than happy with him. I am glad you like the SE cig. I have read many bad things on this forum about it. I can't believe your original atty lasted so long.

Yep - talked to Drew at NHaler - Very nice guy, and like I have said elsewhere - he didn't even try to sell me anything... just tried to help me fix my own unit first rather than spend a bunch of money. Which he in fact did.

    He's totally earned my biz.

And no kidding on the atomizer. When I first started reading around in these forums I could not believe all the talk about how people were replacing parts in weeks, and months. I just assumed that all electronic cigs were like mine.

I had never washed mine out, blew it out, or anything like that. Just kept on buying carts and using it with great gusto at first, and now down to around 5 carts a week of light or 0 nic.

Hoping when I order the juice from Drew and cut it I will start getting a throat hit again. I miss that. Hard to go 0 nic without it. Thinking the VG as compared to PG may be the kicker. Not sure. I definately see the price benefits of e-juice refills, and especially DIY.

    Take care,
    - Hap

Well I really haven't done anything special, or anything more than what I've discussed earlier - which is why I am doubly shocked to hear all the atomizer stories...

Usage: For the first 6 months I'd say - pretty heavy usage - 2 to 3 five packs of 'High' carts per week. Then I stepped it down to about 2 five packs of 'Medium' carts per week. Not sure how long I was at that level - quite a while. For at least the last 5 months or so I have been doing about 1 five pack per week of mostly 'Light' or 'None' carts.

Maintenance: None. End of story - I just never knew there was any maintenance I should be doing, therefore all I did was keep replacing the carts anytime the vapor stopped coming out, and a fresh battery didn't make any difference.

So, at present I am still on my original batteries and atomizer. I had thought my atomizer finally bit the dust many days ago, but with the help of reading this forum and some pointers from Drew, it appears to be working fine again.

This is a NJoy NCig just to be clear - so it is the Pen style of e-cig rather than the NPro which is more like the Smoke Everywhere I was just given the other day.

After reading all that I have read in here I am assuming that this is just a freak situation and that perhaps because all I have used is factory cartridges and supplies that came with it? I don't know. Basically I have done nothing special at all so go figure. lol

    Take care,
    - Hap

I am still on my first 510 atomizer, going on six weeks now.
But then I only use it about five times per day, more or less.

I would not even hope to dream of getting more than three months out of it.
But wow, two years, that is pretty much unheard of around these parts!!

But what really interests me is what exactly did you do to get your atomizer working again?

    That Smoke Everywhere Gold is an RN4081. Parts are cheap for it. Learn more at;

I'm using 0 nic now, and I found that menthol will give you a hit. Too much will knock your socks off, so be gentle at first if you try it.

Hi Hap and welcome to the forum. I have an NJOY NPRO too. It was my first purchase and it's gone to the back of my stash but I might have to dig it out again. Wow, just wow, on an atty lasting two years. That is the longest I have personally heard of one lasting. You must be doing something right.

Well - I will be darned. Holy smokes (pun intended) ... the atomizer has *already* died in my new little guy here. :p

I am going to head to the Kiosk at the mall this morning and try my luck. Dad seems to think it won't be a problem to swap it out and that it was a pretty nice guy running the place - so we shall see.

That was just shy of ONE single week. Wow - I am really going to have to adjust my expectations lol. I'll report back on how schmoov or not the SE swap goes.

    Take care all,
    - Hap

I'm sorry . . . it appears that since you're no longer using your magic atomizer, you're stuck here with us mere mortals, doomed to replace atomizers at an astonishingly fast rate.

Seriously, hope your swap is uneventful . . . and I hope you have better luck with the replacement. :)

LOL --> Yes I suppose I must now step down from my atomic throne and shed my mantle of longevity :D

The Report: 'The Man at the Mall' was first rate. Did not even blink at me asking for a new atomizer. Threw in a second one and his last pack of Coffee carts for my troubles and then we just sat back - had a 'smoke' and discussed the court decision on e-cigs being electronic devices -> a huge sigh of relief for him, the flavor thing still being a big pain in the .... for his industry buying flavored carts, etc.

All in all he's a very cool guy who is just doing a fantastic job at his retail spot. I honestly cannot fault him for doing a great job no matter how much cheaper I can buy parts and new kits online. I must admit it is also really nice to have someone nearby I can go grab some carts from for a quick fix if I'm out of stoof! :D

(Plus, I think if I keep working on him and educating him on the stoof I find out about here - he may just start carrying other items!!)

    Take care all,
    - Hap
