I'm pretty new to e-cigs. I was at a mall a few months ago and a Cigotine salesman gave me the whole spiel and really sold me. I really love it and completely abandoned analogs, but the carts don't last all that long and I'm constantly alternating between two batteries so one can charge. I've been reading through this forum and I see that there are better devices, but I can make heads or tails out of what's what and whatnot. I don't really care about appearance (less like a cigarette would be a plus), I need longer battery life, and my budget is very limited so I can't really spend more than $100 to start with. Any suggestions? Also, hi.

The problem with auto batteries is that juice from your atomizer or cartomizer can get down inside of it and ruin your battery. Some people claim that wind, loud noises & vibration can set them off accidentally but I have not experienced this so far.

The new automatic batteries can't be set off by noise, wind or vibration. Manual batteries can be set off by accidentally depressing the button while in your pocket or purse. The Echo carto doesn't leak at all if you remove from battery while refilling and let it set for a couple of minutes to make sure you let any overflow drain out. Only one person that I know of has had a problem with juice in the battery and they were refilling while the carto was on the battery. They are a great PV and I've tried a lot of different PV's in 19 months of vaping.:2cool:

You won't be sorry on the Echo choice. The only additional thing you might need is a different tip. Bill at D&B Gold does include a 801 drip tip which works very good with them but if you like to hold them in your mouth for hands free vaping you need to get the hard plastic 801 cartridge whistle tips from Nhaler. PM me anytime if you have any questions on the Echo.

Worrying eveytime you fill is no fun with an auto battery. Was very careful and still fried mine.

Were you using an Echo with Echo cartos? I've only heard of one person that ruined an Echo and they were refilling with the carto attached. It is very simple to remove the carto to refill.
