I have been vaping for a while now but im getting tired of buying coils all the time so I decided to start building my own. So I bought a Griffin and some 28 awg Ti (grade 1, of course). I put on diffferent sets of dual coils. One set 3mm 6 wraps, the other set 4mm 7 wraps, but i cant get either one of them to fire. My Lavabox just keeps saying check atomizer. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could be doing wrong and/or how to fix the problem. Any help will greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I figure they are shorting out but I dont know how. Right now i just have the deck on and they dont seem to be touching anything.
Tighten the screws, also make sure they're not shorting on the posts. The coils cannot be making contact with the posts.
i dont have my ohm meter yet so i screwed my deck onto my lavabox and connected to escribe and did the atomizer analyzer and it isnt reading anything either
I think I found the problem. My copper pin was screwed in too tight and not connecting.
All you need for vaping is a cheap voltmeter that reads low voltage and resistance with reasonable accuracy. Harbor Freight has a variety that ranges from $5 to about $60. I have a half dozen of the cheapos around the house in the basement workshop, first floor, and upstairs in my workout/computer/playroom and one each of the higher priced HF VOM's, plus a Simpson digital from the 80's that's a good meter.
You can also buy one of the 510 ohm meters for $20 or so. I use that as a third hand to hold the atomizer. It's a must for coil building.
