Hi all,

I bought me some flavor extracts I found at some local supermarket and they list the ingredients as: Water, (Flavor) Extract, Propylene Glycol

Where "flavor" is the corresponding flavor. I have bananna, coffee and vanilla.

Now they are 5oz bottles, and "water" is the first ingredient so I suspect that they are abit watered down, but at least they dont appear to contain any oils.

Anyone know if boiling would remove only water and leave me with a condensed flavor/PG solution? Or will I simply have to use alot of this in my diy mixes?

Thanks

i use the mint, peppermint, orange and rum from walmart and only the rum has PG, the rest are oil based and i have used them with no problems. just yesterday i put orange in my mint flavor combined in a 3ml bottle that is 24mg Nic PG and Humco glycerine and it kicks you know what8-o and its got one hell of a throat hit:evil: with the orange added. just my .02 but i hope this helps.

Yeah will try that soon.. I suspect it will take alot, I mean if Loranns is tiny lil bottles, and these are a whopping 5oz... and ingredients are always in order of percentage.... so if its water, then extract, then PG.... theres prolly 50%+ water in it.

Heres a question I havent seen and just thought of.... WHY PG/VG? Do atty's not like straight up water?
