Group forum suppliers by country / region

I understand that the decision was made to give the suppliers who have been around longer a higher spot on the list. But the list is just getting too long. 74 suppliers!

I think that the section should be grouped by country or region, such as:

Northeast US
Southeast US
Midwest US
Northwest US
Southwest US
Canada
Western Europe
China
and so forth

Keep the seniority order in place, just separate suppliers by country/region so there's not a awkwardly long single list. You will get some level of organization while still maintaining preferable placement for those suppliers who have came on first.

Ok well I know this has been hashed out already, but I can't speak for the Admins or roly and SJ. I am only posting a tip here for the current set up (for the OP and lurkers)

I found this to be very useful (just in case you were not aware)

if you press CTRL F (find) while on the index page and type the region to find.. you can quickly scroll through the suppliers in that region.

The sortable list that I made will sort by name or by region. It's even linked at the top of the supplier forum section now, so it's really easy to find.

Alternately, for the US, this site has a nice map with suppliers listed for each state.
