I'm new, so I thought I would tell my story.
I noticed the Blu display at my favorite cigarette shop in Denver, NC and I asked the lady behind the counter. I respect people in sales and she did good job a selling them to me. Although I am easily sold on "cool" things, I am grateful that I only purchased the disposable. Of course I was still a big pack and a half a day smoker, so I also purchased 4 cartons of analogs. I live in both NC and in the SF bay area, so whenever I'm traveling back to Cali, I always purchased a large sum of cigs.
The Blu disposable was a dream. I had tried a cheap no name gas station disposable months before and didn't get it. With the Blu I got it. I did a bunch a research, strangely not yet finding ECF. I found some recommendations for Revolvercig.com and ended up purchasing the Talon Tank starter kit. Later, while waiting for the package to arrive, my continued research found out it was a standard Ego-T kit with Revolver branding. I probably paid a bit too much, but I didn't care. I couldn't wait to try my new obsession.
The Ego-T was awesome. I loved the 11 flavors that I had ordered from Revolver and the maintenance wasn't terrible. After day one I tried an analog, it was terrible. After week one I tried another, even worse. I just didn't enjoy them at all. I continued to research, and eventually found ECF and the many youtube review channels. It was becoming a big obsession.
Soon I ordered a bunch of accessories from Discountvapers.com and some more juices from various online retailers. I had a growing need to see the hardware and juices in person and found that the bay area has a few B&Ms. My research led me to TastyVaper, and walking into their retail store was like walking into heaven. Dozens of flavors, a small selection of hardware, the vapor in the air, it was the perfect place. I purchase 90ml of juice that day and even talked with the owner a bit. Everyone in the vaping world is just so personable.
I had already converted a friend in California, he had ordered the Blu starter kit before consulting me. I didn't want to make him mad at the purchase, so I only gave him slight warnings about the battery life. Knowing full well that the next time I saw him he most likely will have a Ego battery and some kind of clearo.
I have many friends in NC who smoke, and it was time for me to make a trip back out there. So I packed the remaining 3 cartons of analogs that I had just a month before brought back from there, and hopped on a plane. I distrubuted the cigs to friends, told them my story, and even let them try out vaping. I have 3 converts in NC, the same 3 who I gave the cartons to
I did a google search for B&Ms and found the Madvapes has retail stores in the area I live, Charlotte. I visited the Mooresville store first and Kyle (Keys) hooked me up with the SmokTech mini vivi novas. They were a huge improvement to the cheap clearos I had purchased from DV. I also found that Madvapes has a few good juices too.
As every purchase of hardware I made somehow improved my vaping experience, I knew it was time for variable something. As an Electronics Engineer I knew this was going to happen. I also knew that for this purchase I did want to make an informed decision.
I'm currently traveling for work and have been in Lexington, KY for a few weeks, with at least 2 more planned. Of course I found the local B&M. It is a tiny whole in the wall, literally, but always busy and its nice to have a local supply source. So last week I was talking with the friend who bought the Blu, and he was bragging about his Ego Twist (I know, it did happen). Now I was happy for this friend, but also jealous. Someone I had introduced to vaping was getting a better vape than me! So I immediately went to the local hole in the wall and purchased the only VV device he had, an Ego Twist. I knew that I would eventually be getting one, even if it was just a backup to the future mod that would be purchasing.
Now catch up to this week. I was on the fence, all these variable power devices seem to be the rage. The Vamo, while cheap, should be one of the best preforming devices out there. Then there is the Provari, which seems to be the Jesus-vape. And while the current Provari is a fairly new model, it is just a refresh of a years old product. We all know that eventually some day Provape is going to come out with something new, it might have the features of other new devices, it might not. I thought, I can wait this Ego twist isn't terrible.
I only was able to wait one day. On Wednesday I ordered the Provari Mini V2.5 in black. I had it set to ship to my hotel room while I am on the road. This kinda scared me, as the Provape site said that it could be 14 days processing, and by that time I hope to be out of here. Well I am so happy to say they shipped it today. I will have the Jesus-vape next week!

Sorry for the long "introduction". I'm mostly a lurker, and hardly ever post on any forums. I just couldn't resist to brag about my new device shipping today.
