I am indeed talking about the smokeless image volts. I didn't get the x2, just the regular 78mm as I wanted to "ease into" this.....BAD IDEA! ANYBODY NOT INVESTED IN EQUIPMENT YET WITH THAT MENTALITY JUST DROP IT AND GET SOMETHING YOU CAN GROW INTO, NOT OUT OF!! Sorry for the caps, but I hope I feel that can't be said enough.

Seriously.... Everyone here has made that mistake & I still see ppl on here going for the cig-a-likes.. Don't make the mistake we all did!

Yeah it is the best I've found. I just bought a twist this weekend & of course found that after I purchased mine. I spent like $50 on one joyetech twist + mini nova + charger + case (which isn't bad) but for another $20 I could have gotten an extra batt & tank :(

Oh we'll I'm happy that I got a genuine twist reacher then the fakes out there... Be careful about that too.

The site I purchased from was on joyetechs distributors web page... If u want to take a look its
Electronic Cigarette Supplies & Electronic Cigarette Refills for Name-Brand Electronic Cigarettes! E-Cigs from LiteCigUSA

There's a B&M store sorta kinda a little bit near here that sells them, they're called Vaperite, and they seem to have good prices and very knowledgable staff, very helpful, and that's about what he told me I'd be spending for a single battery to get started. Seems in line with other vendors, now I have to decide if I want to get the cheaper deal or support my local (40-ish miles actually) store! Dang my sentimental self!

guess that's why I've seen you guys call it "paying your dues". lol. I can't really complain though, I do enjoy the volt and it did lead me into the awesome world of vapor.

Haha I went with the genuine joyetech, but again I didn't see that kit until after I had purchased. I don't think you can go wrong either way... Just a matter of if you have a specific tank you want to put on it or if you like the convince of the kit.

For me it was fun to put together my own kit bc I could decide what I wanted, what size & all that. I ended up getting the 650 mAh + the mini nova... I'm going to add a 900 mAh twist on Friday when payday comes! Lol

Hah hah. I meant the Twist.

I love my Volt. I'll never get rid of it or outgrow it. It comes in handy in so many ways (i.e., stealth vaping in class). Plus, it's SOOO easy to use.

Speaking of the Volt, when I get my college check from the government, I'm going on a vaping shopping spree. I'll be getting at least two more Volt batts. Hah hah, government, take that!

(I'm not being TOO too serious, I understand that money comes from taxpayers. But I pay taxes, too!)

Hey, Rocketpunk, you say every OTHER night? o_O I'm charging these little volts every other hour....LITERALLY! What kind of vaper are you? Heavy, moderate, etc. I'm assuming I'll slow my vaping down once the new wears off a bit. ;)

 Ok, I'm confused. You are satisfied with using you mini Volts as a social e-cig, but want something bigger for primary vaping..a Twist or Spinner, which both use a 510 thread. Since Smokeless Image already has a Spinner X2 that you can continue using your SI juice carrier devices on, why not get that?

What am I missing here?

Damn right you do, and I dunno, maybe it's because I'm new to it, but I find vaping to be relaxing and it absolutely enhances my concentration. I have been a musician (guitar) for many years, fronting my metal bands and loving it. I loved writing and creating, and then I decided to quit smoking to help my voice. Not only did I realize what an important roll smoking played in giving me a good mellow buzz from alcohol, but it really helped me when I wrote. For my health, I resisted smoking, and ended up dipping. Copenhagen, skoal, etc. I hated it at first, but got used to it. Then I decided to research vaping, and eventually to try it. It was like coming home. The gates of my mind opened and I could write again, and I just generally felt good about it. It may sound stupid or naive, and it may even be....but I think it is therapeutic. Vape away, Rocketpunk, vape away. From one tax payer to another, it is very much worth it, IMO! ;)

I have both the vision spinner 1300 and the twist 1100. I prefer the spinner mainly because the button seems to be more responsive for me and the battery is thicker and feels better balanced to me. I use vivi nova mini tanks from vape dojo (these don't need an adapter which I really like) I have also used the vision clearomizers which are nice, but I seem to get a better vapor experience from the vivi nova.

My ignorance is all. I honestly have no clue. Been vaping about a week and a half, and all my research was about vaping, not the equipment. Had no idea (still kinda feel lost) that I could use anything I already have. Really though, I only have a few cartos. That being said, SI was very satisfying to deal with, so it's a great possibility I'll look to them. I know it's hard to see it from my perspective, but imagine wanting...ehh..."more"? and not knowing the next step. Thats what this thread was all about, and you guys have delivered in spades!

I only spoke up because I suspected you weren't up with Smokeless Images lineup. I had no idea how much gear you had already accumulated. I have no affiliations with them other than their mini's and X2's are what I started out with. And they got me off of the smokes. I'm grateful for that.

Having said that, within 6 weeks or so, I too was looking for more. I wanted a mod that I could just change batteries out instead of carrying multiple devices around. I also wanted more options in juice carrying devices, mainly larger capacity cartotanks. So I got Altsmoke BB and Silver Bullet (actually Altsmoke has very close ties with Smokeless Image; Altsmoke sells Smokeless Image products on their website and B & M).

So now might be a good time to change to the more popular 510 format for you.

Ego's or a MOD? Hmmmm.

I still use my Volts all the time. They are a great stick in your pocket device for out and about. I actually think that cig-a-likes are a vital part of making the move from smoking to vaping because they mimic an actual cigarette. I have "upgraded to the X2 and will likely try the new X2 spinner, but I will always have a few Volts in my repertoire.

Smokeless image has larger batteries. They are comparable to ego style and they will fit the cartos you have already been using. They also just came out with a variable volt.

I out grew the Volt as well. Smokeless Image grew with me. Their customer service can't be beat.

(I did not read all the replies to this so I appologize if I'm repeating others')

Edit.......The spinners will be found if you mouse over the "Batteries" selection and then click X2 Spinners in the drop down menu.

You only "sorta" repeated. My problem is I can't find any vv on their site. Wonder if it's sold out or just not availible quite yet? Would love to stick with SI.

The Spinners just came out for sale by them last Friday evening. Imagine said they were getting a couple thousand in to begin with so I guess it's possible they sold out. lol

I have one on the way. It will be my first VV. But I have a feeling it is going to be awesome with the T3's that I have only just recently been able to get the hang of using.

If you decide to stick with SI and the 808 threaded products, you should check out the SI forum. Like every forum on this board, lots of awesome, like minded people!! :)

Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt Spinners - Variable Voltage Battery

And according to the website, they are in stock.

The current juice carrying devices by Smokeless Image can not handle variable voltage, though.

"* The Recommended setting for ALL VOLT cartos and clearos on the VOLT Spinner is 3.8v. Anything higher may cause dry or burnt tastes!

* The recommended setting for all VOLT cartos and clearos is 3.8v

* Increasing voltages will result in warmer thicker vapor, but may cause dry or burnt tastes."

The company had resisted in offering a variable voltage battery because their business philosophy was for all of their equipment to be completely compatible with each other. This made choosing devices easier for beginners. However, they gave in to customers demand for a variable voltage battery. They haven't yet caught up to offer juice carrier devices that are compatible with variable voltage.

EDIT: Let me qualify my above statement, "The current juice carrying devices by Smokeless Image can not handle variable voltage, though." I spoke too hasty.

If one follows the Safe Vaping Power Chart Vaping Power Chart 2.0 - Imgur, the current SI juice carrying devices should be able to handle up to 4.8v from the new X2 Spinner. Kiwivap informed me that the jcd's SI sells have a 2.6-2.8 ohm rating, which should vape fine on the new X2 Spinner. As Smokeless Image cautions, some flavors may taste burnt at the highest setting, as you are bordering in or near the "purple block area" of the vaping chart.

My appologies for making a blanket statement that the current jcd lineup would not work with the new SI X2 Spinners.
