Ok, starting to get really frustrated here...

My first diamond died on me when I started using it. Not a big deal, I understand that these things happen.

Received my replacement diamond in the mail the other day, I havent even sent the first one back yet. Tried it once or twice to make sure it worked. Take it to work today it vape with it. It works great. The vapor stops and the LED flashes, so I take that to mean the Battery dies, so I come home and try to put it onto my V4L branded charger. Guess what...

It wont charge either. The light stays blue, this one doesnt even have the LED flash when I attach it onto the charger.

I have six other KR808's, 4 of which are from V4L. All of these have worked perfect and charge perfect. I dont understand why I cant get a diamond to stay working. I'm not doing anything different with it. I'm using V4L branded carto's that I use and have used fine with my other batteries. Heck, the carto I even used on the diamond today was a sealed Prefilled Green Tea, which I then put onto another battery and it worked fine. I wanted to make sure it was not the carto that did something weird to the unit.

Is my charger defective? Why would it work fine for every other battery then?

I know about the post fix. I watched the video on it and was careful when screwing this onto the charger. The post on this is up higher or on par with the post on my other V4L batteries that work.

I have a hard time thinking that I was sent a second battery that wont work, but I dont see how I could have messed up anything in this process.

Support is probably going to think at this point that I've hosed something up along the way which is unfortunate. I hope that they would be willing to work with me, but what happens if I get another diamond. Am I going to have problems with it also?!

I'm pretty upset at this point if anyone can offer any advice or insight I would really appreciate it.

We will make sure you get a working unit. Please pm me your ticket number and the color and size of the battery and I will make sure you receive a proper replacement.

Thank you, it is just very frustrating. I sent the information you requested. Even though it would appear I have horrible luck, I have too say that the V4L staff has been wonderful.

One of these days I will get my fancy diamond battery! Back to waiting for now though...

If anyone thinks it is possible that a part of my setup has somehow caused a problem (only part I can think of would be the charger) please let me hear your opinions.

Thanks everyone for the support and advice.

Some of these issues I do believe IMHO can be attributed to rough handling during shipping.....USPS is oh so NOT delicate with any package....even the ones marked FRAGILE! Lord only knows what all had stomped on that poor battery before it ended in your gentle hands....I'm actually quite surprised with how much does go well considering all this.....

Jorvic sir, I see Mark sir is already taking care of you. If you want to give it a last ditch effort though, I have a few suggestions... So far haven't seen this issue from any of my KD v2's, but have a few theories... First suggestion is bring the post all the way up to the rim around it, if not past it. This resets the switch, could be a faulty switch that is getting stuck and thus it's not discharged, but actually you've hot the cutt off point enough times that it has disabled itself.... Could be the post isn't making contact with the charger as well, pulling it up all the way would cure that issue... Could be that the charger isn't allowing the batt to screw all the way down had that issue with the usb on a few of my older autos, required some sanding on the batt, but in the end worked (haven't seen it from any of the new titan labled batts though)... Or as Ms. Keelalagirl stated, could have been rough handling, or just a bad batt sadly... I will see if I can duplicate this problem for you... At least that way if it hits anyone else, they'll be a fix. I'm very sorry Jorvic sir that you're having bad luck with them...

Pulling the post all the way up seems to have done something with the battery. When I put it on the charger the light blinks numerous times, probably too much to hope that different blinks represent different errors for troubleshooting. No charging though, the light stays blue.

Interesting fact about pulling the post all the way up resets the switch. Where did you pick up that useful piece of information? I would like to learn a bit more about the technical aspects of this.

I would be glad to try and troubleshoot anything with the two I have before I send them back if you have any ideas. It might help someone else, heck I'm probably just really unlucky...

Or I need to "have a nice chat" with my mail carrier

I would try to compare the charger, but alas I dont have extras and am not familiar with how they should appear to know if there is any issue there. I never thought that shipping might have been rough on the batteries.

Jorvic sir picked up that fix one night while having issues with one of the new stealth batts... Fixed two of mine so far using it, and it worked on a malfunctioning batt of a close friend of mine... :) Done a lot of testing and work with the king diamond line, and the new v2's on the stealth and kd's... Have a passion for them.
