My sigelei 213 is toast... for now. I'm going to try to fix it myself, it's a contact issue so if I can open the box a little soldering should square me back up. I have been steeping down from high watt vaping, 85 watts instead of 100+, but I still like it hot. I have a decent mech and my old sigelei Fuchai to hold me over.

I haven't bought a mod since May. Anything new and shiny I need to be told about? Anything to avoid like the plague? I'll likely just buy another 213 because I like the feel, but am open to suggestions.

TC is not a deal breaker, it really doesn't matter to me. Most of the time I'm in power mode anyway. I have been using Stainless dual Claptons ohmed at .2 -.3 and running 85 watts through them.

Thanks for any advice. Cheers!

The IPV6X is too new to have any long term reliability reviews, but it is similar in form to the 213 and seems real nice. I ordered on from VaporDNA, but it has not arrived yet.
It'll be far superior to the 213. You can bank on that. The YiHi chipset is enough for me to pull the trigger next time I get a mod.

My Fuchais (V1) are my daily drivers, mostly because they come with a silicone sleeve in the box, but they are heavy. Very rugged though. I also respect my IPV5s, though I don't take them out of the house. IPV5 just "feels" high end, can't explain it further. I don't have an IPV 6 yet and have only unboxed and tested my 213. It seems a bit more cheaply made than the Fuchai V1, or maybe it's just me.

I would have bought an RX, but it would have necessitated investing in more batteries since all mine are paired, not "three'ed". I have enough batteries, thanks.
