You like the Classics, BreSha? The one thing I love about the P3 that is missing on the 2.5 is the display of battery life.
11 clicks to "Cb" (Check battery). It will display the precise remaining voltage.

11 clicks and you better be ready to slap it to your lips or you'll burn your cotton. Silly, silly feature.
I think he wants a matching ring to extend his Mini to 18650 size.
Not in GMZ yet, so hopefully a call to Provape will make that happen!

No DP, I have the cap already. I want an extension ring to go with the cap so I can run the mini in 18650 mode. I find the full on size nice and comfortable to use when I'm lounging around the house.

Yes, exactly. Even though they don't list it seperatly on the accessories page, I know they have them for the Classic GMZ. Hopefully they'll sell me one!He can just get the one for the Classic then - no?

Sorry myself. Saw that was already cleared up.Yeah, sorry about that, Scot. I wasn't tracking properly (a too-common faux paus where I'm concerned).
I got one of the rings when I purchased my blem GMZ mini 2.5.. I had to have them add it to my cart.
When I got it it was a close match to the 2.5's finish but looked less polished than the unit I got.
It does the job but if I look at it too much the color difference starts to bug me.
Sorry, what I meant was seeing the battery display and everything else every time you fire, rather than clicking through the menu to specifically check it. I know it's not really necessary, but it's kinda comforting to always having that display on the screen. The Classics are like that too, right?11 clicks to "Cb" (Check battery). Agreed. I don't think that feature is worth an extra $100 though. Also, the extra 5w isn't really usable in reality. You like the Classics, BreSha? The one thing I love about the P3 that is missing on the 2.5 is the display of battery life.
I guess my issue is I am a newbie when it comes to the 2.5 Provaris. I came to the party with a P3 as my first Provari and so I was a bit backward from everybody else in that I learned to use that menu system comfortably first. Now I just got my first 2.5 last week and have the learning curve of a "new" menu system, with its own unique style of battery meter display.I'm not sure.
I've yet to find the battery meter that works quite as well as the digital read-out that a v2.5 provides. The DNA40 comes close, but is also subject to jumps.
That being said, I use plenty of things with the meters, but given an option, I'd opt for the 2.5 (even with the clicks). I haven't really needed to check my battery life while driving, since I usually know it before I leave home.
I agree with you on the higher wattage not being necessary. I'm at 1.3 to 1.8 ohms and never run it above 12 watts. That's why I was thinking the Classic might bridge that gap between the 2.5 and the P3. Once I get a little more used to using the 2.5, maybe I'll just opt for the "crop circles" version. I don't have one of them yet, just 3 teardrops and a Celtic Knot. Come to think it, I don't have a straight P3 yet either...Agreed. I don't think that feature is worth an extra $100 though. I have a love/hate relationship with my P3's. I really want to use them at 20w with a 0.5ohm equipped tank, but that doesn't easily happen in the real world.
My Classics aren't going anywhere but I will likely sell my P3's.
