I can imagine! People can sometimes underestimate the absence of light & its effect on the human eye, especially when you have sensitive night vision which quickly adjusts to the darkness (I'm sort of the same way, but sure it gets more extreme in others)...
From pics & videos, anyway, I think the red only works with certain body colors & situations..
I hate red LED, in general, but I'm open to the idea with a ProVari.. Just would be really selective in the combo..
For example, if I needed an outdoor beater, I'd pick up a satin silver blem w/red (to keep the price low & for readability in strong sunlight)..
Black & red hybrid? Red LED.. Same with Zombie..
Also works with the various silvers & grays -- then again, so do blue & green, mostly..
Anyway, would be nice if ProVape did website photos of each color LED for each body color..
And maybe not use such intense lighting, which tends to distort the real-life colors.. I've yet to see anybody produce a natural pic that comes close to the ProVape gun metal photo on the righthand side (at the site)...

But I am still happy with it, with some of my Red spectrum tanks it will look like it belongs this way
Yep, part of it is also how you "dress it up" in different ways with various components/accessories..
I'm not one to really do that, but can definitely appreciate the results of those who do!
The grey/red look isn't for everybody.. It's weird like that..
For example, I've got a metallic gray car (which I bought intentionally like that).. And with the red tail-lights, people either love or hate the combo..
Just a few pics of the new Gunmetal mini. A few months ago Trev Vapor did a special 'sandblast' edition of the Cingulum Compleo for me and I think it looks great on the gunmetal. It actually makes the color appear a little more gray black than blue black. I like it both ways blue & black. I tried a few different ways to capture the true color--but for me on the iphone it just doesn't really capture the color. But here goes anyway...

I just have a little Point & Shoot camera and I must have taken 10-15 pics to get even one to come out even close.
I bet you my camera is a lot worse than yours..
Seriously, they come out bad, even the "good" ones.. It's a really old, cheap camera...
ProVarii come 1st, though..
My eyes are extremely photosensitive, always have been. I have extremely good night vision as well. At the same intensity, red would be easier on the eyes, but those red LED's are just spotlights compared to the blue. Blue light isn't all that bad for night vision anyways.

Mine arrived today, but I forgot to take pictures when the sun was out. WOW is it ever pretty. It might just be my new favorite! I'd ordered a lovely tip (black with shiny star-speckles) for it in advance, and the two look fantastic together. Fingerprints DO love it though...
I would love to see your drip tip when you get a chance to get a pic please. I will be looking for something to go with the metallic Graphic tank.

Yes it is the Innovape M1 ring and endcaps and I luv them! The ring works wonderfully with the carto tanks, they are completely closed on the top and only have an opening for the 510 connection. I first tried this on the ProVari V2 that I have and it wouldn't fit, but it fits the V2.5's perfectly. I liked it so much I bought a second set

The sparkle in my drip tip has more colors, but would probably look great. Unfortunately they are like Molehill Mountain and everything seems to be a one-off. I got snaked on a gorgeous tip today -- silly me for agonizing over it for too long!!
If you decide you want one like mine (once I get it posted) I'll look up what he called it and maybe he'd do one custom for you.
