Omgosh...we have lived parallel lives.

Only one difference - I never really liked the MVP2 (gifted to a family member with the plastic still on the shiny parts!) but I still bought one

I liked the MVP2 until my first one died. Got it replaced under warranty and immediately sold it. No longer had a warm-fuzzy about the device so I drank the kool-aid. Shortly after I sold my other MVP2. Have a second Provari on the way now. Well technically it is my third. My first was a white blem mini I bought a month ago but sold it a few weeks later. Mini just wasn't for me.

I could never figure out a way to comfortably hold the MVP2, that was my only problem with it. It worked well...just didn't like the box type, had a VTR to for about 2 days, gave that to my son.

I think I like my mini's more than the full size...kinda obvious by the pics (more minis than standard) but I hardly ever use them in mini-mode. Even the newest Gunmetal is now sporting a 490 with the extension.

I'm the same way. I only own 1 390 battery & I've never even used it. I had a full-sized black which is gone & I have a full-sized polished which is unofficially up for sale. All I vape on are my Stealth mini in 490 mode & occasionally my polished mini in 490 mode. They're just a touch smaller with the same good battery life... and I'm just not a fan of the crop circles. I also like the rounded edges on the extension cap more than the sharper edges on the regular cap. The only dings on my Stealth are from being in the same breast pocket as the full sized polished, from that bottom corner sliding over. Hardly noticeable, but still.

The full size is surprisingly small IMO, even with the extension cap. With the new 18650 (2000 mAh) batteries I get three days off a single charge at 3-4mls/day. I would definitely like a stealth mini for certain times, though.

So true. I still remember the first Provari I ever saw, guy had A Zombie Edition with him at a local shop. That color makes the metal detailing harder to see. I was sure it was a mini. Nope, standard with extension. I was floored. They seem so much larger in pics than they really are when you see one for the first time.

Yep. This was my first, and when I saw the tiny box my first thought was that was the charger or spare parts or something. When I opened it and saw the unit, I just looked at it all confused for a moment. How could it be this tiny? But now I'm used to it and it feels just right.

If I am splurging for a Gunmetal I will be going the extra $15 and getting blue.

Some people think the added expense is silly, and maybe it is...but I'm glad I paid it. Even though the display is rarely on, and my huge fingers often cover the button when I fire it, there's just something about the blue lights that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I didn't add blue with my satin silvers. But that is because I was buying satin silver, especially my second one a blem, to keep the cost down. The Gunmetal will be a "cost be damned" purchase so why not go all out.

Here's a pic I just took outside - love the color in this Gunmetal!! I tried to get a pic with the red led on :)blink:) and successfully failed at all attempts:

I figured having a Red LED would hurt night vision less if that was important, which in my case sometimes is.

But Blue is definitely the nicest IMO.

Blue is way easier on the eyes at night. The red is just too bright.

I drive in the dark 100 miles every day for work, out in rural Montana where there aren't a whole lot of lights. Honestly the Stealth is the only one that doesn't blind me. Even the regular blue can light up the whole interior of my Outback.

Yay...success:

Awesome.. thanks!

Yep, with gun metal.. Blue 1st, red 2nd, green 3rd..

From what I've seen from pics, anyway..

If/when I get one (budget- & P3-dependent), I think I'm going with blue..

It works with all 3, but those blue tones start popping in certain lighting & immediate surroundings...

I agree wholeheartedly...I didn't realize the blue tones in this Gunmetal were so striking, had I known - I would have ordered blue led also. But I am still happy with it, with some of my Red spectrum tanks it will look like it belongs this way :D
