This thing is difficult to get a good photo of!!! The color has almost a "pewter" look to it at times. Tried to get the green led best I could, Let me know if anyone wants a different angle or?

It's tricky getting the exact true real-life capture when it come to photography..

What do you think of the green LED with the gun metal?


Seems like in lots of light, or just a little light, I bet the green looks awesome.. But when there's possibly medium(?) light, the blue comes out of the ZenKote, and I'm not so sure of the green...

Oh this is just the ProVari group...the others are hiding elsewhere

Two of these (my first the White V2) were purchased used, each 6 month anniversary of not smoking I bought two...the Gunmetal was just an early 2 year vapeversary present - we will have to see if the P3 comes out before or around August 30th!

Love this finish, agree that it has a twinge of blue in it that I wasn't expecting. Don't think that's a negative in any way. Reminds me a tiny bit of the EE Nemesis Celeste that you see a pic of occasionally. Thinking very hard about an upgrade from my MVP2 to either an SS blem, Stealth, or one of these. Going to be a tough call if I pull the trigger.

Can't go wrong with a SS blem as your first. Use it as your daily driver and get a gunmetal for special occasions. The gunmetal will always be there. The blems won't. And for less than the price of a gunmetal you can buy 4 batteries and a ring. A gunmetal or a P3 is gonna be my 2 year anniversary present next March. It will be #3.

I told myself my gun metal (1st mod ever) would stay at home where it's safe. I can't leave the house without it! Only another provari will do as a backup. Wondering what the p3 will be like, but I can't imagine wanting or needing more than this.

Omgosh...we have lived parallel lives.

Only one difference - I never really liked the MVP2 (gifted to a family member with the plastic still on the shiny parts!) but I still bought one

YES it is...I am beginning to love the "shinys" more and more, the Green Metallic and the Gun Metal have quickly become my favorites with the Polished following close behind.

Some comparison pics. The blue in the gunmetal doesn't show up well under fluorescent light. But you can definitely tell the difference in finish between the cerakote of the black/red vs the zenkote. And don't mind the backup lurking (staring at you) in the background.

As an aside, has anyone else noticed that the display and cutout hole are smaller than previous versions? I notice that my gunmetal cutout for the display is a tiny bit smaller and the numbers appear more squat. I can't get a decent picture side by side unfortunately.

Haha! I went through almost the exact same progression. Here is my timeline, left to right. Missing are the SI cigalikes I started on and my first upgrade, an Ego-C upgrade.

Yes, somebody else noticed...

Mine came with Four.

Thing is perfect too. Honestly can't find the blem. Might be the window. Doesn't seem as clear as my other one. No big deal.

The only difference is the screen on the Red LED is different. Not as big. Not quite as clear as the one on the brand new Blue LED mini.
