Hi all,

Aspire BDC plastic ones - bought two, and they gurgle gurgly rattlesnake viper spit juice in my mouth non stop.

I've tried just about everything. I was even thinking they were knock offs but came in the right box and the burner bit is ok and stamped with batch numbers etc...

So I fiddle, twist, tighten, loosen, poke, re fit, change heads, change them back, and nothing seems to stop them gurgling.

The only thing I can seem to get to work is to vape it pointing to the moon and when it tastes like its starting to get dry dink and dunk it back down and up again.

I found this - air flow controller - but this just seems daft, can't really see buying these because of a borked product.

I'm pretty close to heading back to Kanger PT2's but I do notice when holding them towards the sky, the taste is sensational so I'm going to try to persevere.

Any ideas?

I have had no problems with either my Aspire ET-S Pyrex unit or the VIVI Pryrex unit.

I did have a little be of gurgle when I took them from the cold outside to inside where they warmed up and extra juice went into the coil head due to expansion, but other than that no issues really.

It's too bad this issue is happening to you as the Aspire units get rave reviews. For me when I used cartomizers such as the U-DCT or SmokTech, regardless of which brand of cartomizer tubes I used I always got gurgles and leaks.

I have had the same issues with the bdc coil. I have used them in the te and ce5 configurations with same results and from 3.3-6volts or 6-11watts (itaste devices).
I think it's the way we vape as I have the same problem with carto tanks (dct?) Its a little better without the tank for the cartos or when the clearo is almost empty for the bdc aspires. I have seen that kanger has come out with a dual coil head in the protank 3 that looks like the normal bcc coil and I am hoping it performs like I imagine because the bdc was a bit of a letdown whether it's my fault or not. (How I vape)

Maybe. I would never vape anything at 4 watts.

er....volts? I dunno man, provari on 4. cranking it to 5 didn't solve the problem, tried to jam a tiny bit of toothpick in one of the holes so it gets less juice, couldn't actually do that, so now I'm getting close to binning them. I did buy a ego to 510 converter for stardusts that fits it so it might do the same as an airflow controller.

Or back to PT2 (and maybe buy a 3).

It's not really a money issue but the aspire tastes golden on that 2% of time they aren't flooded.

Just an update, clearly these things don't work well on a provari directly. Swapped to the ego batt, and tons of vape and no gurgles, although now, not as much flavour (as it seems its getting too much air lol). Also used a ego to 510 converter and tried it on the provari and while it stands about 3/4 an inch off so isn't flush it works as above with the ego. Again not as much flavour. I guess its a balance between drinking the liquid and vaping it lol. Seems an airflow controller would give the perfect tuning, so probs ganna get one. I notice the Kanger PT2 already has the airflow built into the base of the tank (where the aspire has just a plain flat base). Maybe PT3 is the go.

Problem solved but shame it doesn't have a base like KPT2 with pre cut air flow.
