Hello - loaded up my first chibi tank yesterday and loved it!! Tired of my juice this morning so I pulled the juice out and refilled - no problems. Been vaping it all day and then got a phone call and then laid it down and now I'm getting the dreaded gurgle....

What's the best way to clear this? Do I need to take it apart to blow it out? Is this a dumb question, lol? ;-)

Here's what I do when I get gurgling...

Take the tank off the battery and hold a tissue over the battery end of the carto in the tank. Keep moving the tissue till it comes away dry. Blow gently on the battery end of the carto and listen for gurgling. If it sounds clear screw it back on and vape away. If you can still hear liquid when you blow on it repeat the tissue thing. Also be sure the wipe the battery contact, before putting the tank back on.

No need to take the entire tank apart though.

Arrgh....no I didn't. Fixed it for a while, but then tight draw...then fiddled with it, then gurgling again....blah...tried blowing it out but not sure how that works because doesn't the air I'm blowing just blow into the hole in the carto into the tube? When I tried the second time it gurlged, it wouldn't clear at all.

So I thought I'd just start over. Inserted syringe, whisked out my juice, took tank apart, blew out the carto holding thumb over the side hole, cleared it.....

Dried it off good, then started to put back together. Grommets don't seem very tight - just slide through the tube? So double dried them, seemed "ok", put back together, filled with juice, screwed onto to pv and as I was screwing it on the whole thing came apart and juice when everywhere....

Gonna go try again, but I swear I'm not sure how these grommets worked the first day (they did!!) but they are so loose they won't hold the carto in the tank tightly....even as I try to put them on they just push through the tank itself. How did I manage to do this, lol?

Hmm, just noticed that one grommet has an o ring and the other doesn't...is that correct?

its becuase the grommets are still moist, when they are completely dry, you can put everything back to gether again and it should still work fine, again the grommets are still moist, you may have to take everything apart on the tank and clean it wiyh soap and water let it dry really good and then put it back together again, alittle trouble but this should completely get all of the juice and everything off the tank, when you put it back together again it will be like new, anyway thats what works for me.

Thanks - been fiddling for about 30 minutes. I put a grommet over the carto, then push into the tank, then the top grommet. Just like the video - but it's a lot harder than the video, lol...have a terrible time getting the top grommet on. And I've tried it both ways - but suppose I should ask - do I use the o ring grommet on the bottom or top? I assumed bottom, but maybe that's wrong?

Hm, I don't know. I don't use a chino, just some cheapie home made syringe tanks and mine fit very tight. I do know that if you have an air leak it will cause a juice leak.

Not being completely dry could be an issue as well. I usually keep a couple. Of spare tanks unfilled so I can give them plenty of time to air dry between uses.

If all else fails you could try a fresh carto. I know when I was first learning how to make and use tanks I had some cartons that would just leak no matter what I did. Don't know what exactly changed, but it doesn't happen often anymore.

Thanks - Got the carto in, tank back together - carto now cleared, but tight, tight draw. blah.....i am so frustrated with vaping - I don't know why I get excited over vaping things 'cause I know it won't last more than a day, lol!! But I was soooo happy yesterday and this morning.....

I only have 1 other punched carto, and my other cartos are all black wrapped....I think I'll just put in a boge and give it up for night (lesser of two evils - the boge all taste like plastic to me as of late),...

I've only had my chibi for two days, but I did figure out how to refill without an issue...

I use a small #0 precision flat-head and push it through the side of the grommet between the tank to create a small opening, use my 18ga flat-tip syringe on the side of the screwdriver opening, and fill it up. I haven't had a single leaking problem, going on the third fill with the same carto, and this is the first tank I've used that doesn't make the carto taste like crap. My liquinator sucks comparatively speaking, and my chibi is no looker by any means.

I'd use some sort of spacer like the screwdriver I described, as it will level out the air pressure while you're filling it up from the spaces on either side.

As with all tanks, YMMV, however :(
