Had problem with getting a good full flavor from my e-juice !!! Here's what I did to fix it !!!

I began vaping AVE 100% VG about 2 weeks ago. I had awesome flavor and was enjoying my Gorilla juice but all of a sudden I had lost the flavor. I then bought some Boge 510 LR Carto's to see if it was my tank in my Joytech Ecab I was using.....

Well, I learned two things :

1. on the Boge Carto's I needed to DEFINITELY use a needle to fill it because the VG was too thick to completely soak in and I didn't was to wait forever for it to soak by itself... I didn't have a blunt tip syringe yet so I used a long thin sowing needle and rotated the Carto while filling. During this process I poked the filler material all the way to the bottom with the needle while dripping in the e-juice and it sped up the soaking in process immediately.... I continued and successfully saturated the cartomizer with the 100% VG, it worked GREAT !!! I plan on getting a blunt tip syringe but I am just starting out and the sowing needle worked as an AWESOME SUBSTITUTE !!!
---- Problem solved , obtained excellent full flavor!!!

2. I learned that after chain vaping one liquid for two weeks my "Taste buds became desensitized" and was another reason I wasn't getting the full flavor I began with so I switched e-juices for about 15 to 20 minutes and SHHAABBAAMM !!! The original flavor came back so I have learned now to rotate my juices so I can acheive full flavor of all my juices.... and it worked with the tank that came with my ecab...

I hope this helps any other "NEW VAPERS" out there that may encounter this problem..... These solutions worked for me !!!

I rotate couple flavors in one day. Always drink a lot of water. Also notice I don't get the sweet flavor if i vape after eating sweets. Usually switch to a mint first.

I have ten cartotanks in use, each with their own flavor. I typically change between 3-4 in any given day. I got totally burnt out of one of my two favorite flavors that were sort of "all day vapes".

One of those was House Blend from Copper Creek. I liked it so much that I bought a 120ml bottle of it. About that time is when I got burnt out on it and it sat in my juice storage area for a few months. An ECF friend here offered to trade for it. She got a deal on some fully-steeped House Blend and I got a gift certificate for my favorite e-juice vendor. A win-win situation.

I have 3 tanks loaded all the time and go back and forth with them. They are all different kinds of flavors so I dont get burn out on fruit or sweet and so on.

I had an all-day vape for my first few days of vaping but got new flavors to rotate into the mix after that. Love tobacco/menthol and banana cream and am starting to appreciate French vanilla, in rotation. Will have new flavors before any of them can get old.

i went thru the same thing as you. First week i had a bad sore throat, stopped for a whole week. Then tried again 2nd week and fell in love with boba bounty. Vaped it hard for 2 days and after that everything was tasteless. This is what us vapers call vapers tongue. Its from all the years of smoking that deteriorated our taste buds. But in dew time will resurrect . After a month got back my taste and everything is so flavorful. I started with 10 juices from AVE, now i have 45 different juices from Ave, AiV, HHV, Virgin Vapes! Started with a vamo, now vaping a provari with a zen atty. Picked up two HH357 to try out my flavors all at once and now im in love with the HH357! Well worth the $25!

hello, i have the same problem, not only with vg but in general, i began to think that my taste is bad since in the reviews they tell you all the nuances of the flavors and i can hardly tell the main taste;-) i will try your rotating tip. thanks

I've go a question on the HH357. How many drops can it hold and how many good draws can be had with one fill before you have to fill it again?

I, too, use the needle trick. I started out with a sewing needle and quickly moved to a hat pin with a large pearl head. After poking myself several times I switched to a blunt "needle point" needle I commandeered from my wife. Eventually, I made a nice one by grinding down a small screwdriver like tool the the dimensions I liked.
