She stopped by the library to read some medical books but she hadn't come up with anything after an hour.

Father must know something but he was in the cave with a slit across his neck! It would take him days to heal!

Telepathy. ...that is the answer. ..she will call upon a long lost acquaintance from years ago

She reached deep within her mind, it had been a while since she had last used telepathy, but soon she was feeling certain that she could do it.

Her eyes closed...her head began to shake...but nothing was happening. ..not even a feeling..

She opened her eyes and shook out her body trying to get into "relax mode" and give it another try.

She closed her eyes again, took a deep breath and concentrated. After a minute or two she heard a faint voice "Jessica, is that you?"

"Yes, its me...but I don't have time for catch up...i need your help...its very urgent!"

"I'm on my way" said the distant voice in her mind...

"There's something I need to tell you. ...its going to be hard to hear...."

But before he could finish the zombies found her and busted in Jessica got away barely by the skin of her teeth but found herself running again, She wasnt worried necessarily about death since she was immortal, but worried what the effects of being an immortal zombie might be.

Finally she contacted Dan again and he said the the sickness was coming from a witches hut that was cutting up human meat and people were eating it..it must be destroyed! Jessica knew exactly where it was!!!

She didn't even need a map. She gathered her supplies and got ready for the journey that awaited her.

Sneaking back to the hut she knew she had to blow it up but how would she get close enough?

Could she. ..its been forever. .and only once was she able to...and it was horribly painful to do, almost to the point of passing out...but she knew it was possible. .tho highly unlikely she could muster the strength and concentration to make it happen. .invisibility. ..

She needed to put the powder she had in the grinding machine and when the blades started up they would ignite the powder and explode. She started to disappear and..

a stray static charge sparked and ignited the powder before she could get it into the grinder....
