I can't say about the charger, but I'd stick to the G6 charger, unless you can match the same specs: I don't know the voltage, but the G6 charger puts out 150 mA.

The chargers are NOT compatible. The V2 is a Gen. 1 model (unregulated) whereas the Halo G6 is Gen. 2 (regulated), so the chargers are slightly different.

Thanks for the clearing up if I can use Halo batteries in my V2 chargers but does this mean that I can only use my chargers for my V2 batteries? In other words, what about some of the generic KR808D-1 batteries? Would any of them be compatible with my V2 chargers?

Incompatible chargers are the #1 culprit for small batteries blowing up, including eGo style batts. As a general rule, just use the charger that came with the kit or that is recommended by the supplier/manufacturer. Using anything else is just asking for trouble.
