HALO compatible with V2?

I'm wondering if the Halo G6 blank cartomizers are compatible with my V2 KR808D-1 batteries? Thanks ahead of time.

I don't know the answer, but I'm replying so that this will get bumped back up, and perhaps be seen by someone else who may know the answer. I know Halo uses 808 threading, but I don't know if there is more than 1 variation to it or not.

Yes they are!

I use a Halo Triton battery, which accepts Halo blanks, and V2 blanks, both of which I've used.

They are threaded KR-808D-1.

After I got my other pv devices the v2 didn't see a lot of use. But after getting some kanger t4 in 808 connection I find myself using them quite a bit in situations where a big device is inconvenient.

The e-smart and (I believe) 901 are also compatible with the 808d-1. My main device is a provari, but I still use my 808 devices for 'out and about'. Plus I picked up some adapters for 510 to 808 to use my 808 devices on top of the provari.

Thanks BigBen2k, I thought they were since they're both 808 batteries but I wanted to make sure since Halo call's their ecigs G6. I guess this means if I wanted to buy a couple of batteries from Halo, I would be able to charge them through my V2 chargers, correct?

G6 is just a name KR-808D-1 is also sometimes known as E8 (although that refers to other things as well).

I can't say about the charger, but I'd stick to the G6 charger, unless you can match the same specs: I don't know the voltage, but the G6 charger puts out 150 mA.

The chargers are NOT compatible. The V2 is a Gen. 1 model (unregulated) whereas the Halo G6 is Gen. 2 (regulated), so the chargers are slightly different.

It'll be a crapshoot trying to sort it out, and given the result (damaged battery), it's best to stick to the charger made for a particular model.

You might even consider picking up a spare charger, so you might as well start with an original.

Incompatible chargers are the #1 culprit for small batteries blowing up, including eGo style batts. As a general rule, just use the charger that came with the kit or that is recommended by the supplier/manufacturer. Using anything else is just asking for trouble.
