Im a Halo user myself and quit smoking over 2 weeks ago with the G6. My brother also picked one up and he loves it. All of the G6 batteries are sealed. Since you get two batteries with the kit I chose a manual 78mm and automatic 78mm.

The auto is nice for driving, but all around I prefer the manual. It gives me greater control and slightly stronger drags. The auto's have an air activated sensor and require air flow thru the tip where the manuals do not. The manuals simply use the button so there is less air intake I feel. The difference is slight I admit. But Im a fanatic :p

You can always get one of each battery and decide which one is right for you. Later on you could always order another battery. But Im happy swapping back and forth (use one, charge one).

I have a pair of volts (same model as the g6) and I don't regret buying them. Imho, the h6/volt/bloog is the best mini ecig model on the market, the kr808d-1. A great way to test the water with ecigs without buying overpriced rubbish. Good luck!

If how it looks is not important, it wont cost a lot more for a lavatube, which is the strongest performing "top end" but affordable ecig out right now. It's big, but it's where you're going to end up eventually if you want full power without spending a lot of money.

I just starting vaping and got my g6 last week! i have to say i absolutely love it! get a manual and an automatic battery. you won't regret it. the battery life is pretty decent for an on the go e-cig. i would recommend you get blank catos and the green apple e-liquid they have as the tobacco like liquids they have don't really taste like tobacco. they're a bit too sweet for me and have an odd after taste. so with that said i love halo's hardware and juices not so much. i'm gonna try out some liquids from VirginVapor

Best of luck!

The G6, along with the Volt and Bloog, are on a VERY short list of e-cigs that look kind of like cigarettes but aren't pure garbage. The only complaint I've heard about the G6 is the juice. The Volt's juice is made by Johnson Creek, the same company that makes the juice for the piece o' crap Blu and the V2, which just goes to show you that the quality of the e-cig has nothing to do with the juice. You might want to get blank cartos and be prepared to fill your own with some better juice from elsewhere.

As for the "automatic" vs manual battery, get at least one of each. The chances are very high that you'll end up with a manual battery eventually, so you may as well take the 5 seconds necessary to get used to it. There's a very good reason that virtually no high-end, or even midrange, PV uses an automatic battery.

Of course, if you plan on vaping while rock climbing, get an automatic battery. Otherwise, their "cons" outweigh their "pros".

Let your Halo juices steep, set around for 2 weeks, then try them, the flavors change and mellow out. bnrk

I find they usually hold about 20 to 23 drops (1ml). I had ordered a few packs of pre-filled cartomizers. Since I am now refilling them with the same liquid, I found some carts holding 15 drops and some holding as much as 23.

I tried filling one of the blank cartomizers that came with the kit using a 1ml syringe and it held .8 ml... Just shy of 1ml as a few drops seeped out of the bottom.

I am rather new to filling so lets see what other ecf members have to say :pop:

I looked at the g6 but decided on the volt. For the same price, you can get a pcc, which I like. Also, after researching, it seems the volt cartomizers are better. I have smoked several of them dry and they have never had a burnt taste, which I have had on other 808. They also seem to be able to be refilled a lot more than other 808's.

I also love the customer service with smokeless image. On my first order, I ordered the wrong thing and I called them and they changed it with no problem. On another order they sent me the ejuice instead of the prefilled cartomizers. They let me keep the ejuice for free and priority mailed me the prefilled cartomizers at no charge. Ever order I have placed has been shipped the same day and I received within 2 days.

I know it's frustrating to get started. I actually tried the blu first, which was a huge mistake. At least you have this forum, when I got started, I didn't know about ecf

so the prime 15 and midnight apple got much better but i'm still not a fan of the other juices. a matter of choice i guess. so i got a ego C and elips last week which i was liking alot since the battery life and flavor was better than on the g6 however i'm finding the tanks to be a nightmare. i think i'm gonna get some replacement cartriges for my halo from volt. one of the other reasons i went for the tank system is bc i'm getting some new juices from VV and thought it be easier to try them out on a tank than to waste cartriges on them. ahhhh my newbiiiie head i need a hybrid between an ego and a halo

Personally, I would go with the volt from smokeless image. It is the same battery and carto. The difference is, its much cheaper and the customer service is second to none. SI ships very fast. Every one of my orders has been at my door within 2-3 days with standard shipping. They also take care of any problems right away. You can also get a free battery, pack of cartos or bottle of juice by posting a picture of yourself on their subforum here after you get your volt.

sivolt50 will get you 15% off your order too
