Order in!! Now the countdown starts for the delivery!

lol yup now the wait. Shouldn't be long though.

Just placed my order for 10 bottles. It should last me a while.:w00t:

 @10.

I was planning to order more but ended up just getting 1 Smooth-8 and 2 Freedom for now. Didn't want to take to much advantage of it and plus I figure there is always those rare few who will have bad taste buds and end up posting in the classifieds for sale or trade :D

I was looking at my last 2ml of Smooth 8 and I got too excited about the sale.

Agreed Lori.... I'm sure that what Monsanto has done to the farmer, Philip Morris would love to do to the vapor. I'm surprised they haven't claimed patent and soul ownership over tobacco as a flavor, i.e. anything remotely smelling like a tobacco flavor would be suspect to copyright and patent infringement.

Then turn around and force us to buy theirs.

Not to be a complete dork, but as an intellectual property attorney I have to chime in! Patents protect inventions - usually a machine, article, or process (although the Bilski case currently before the Supreme Court may change that). Copyright protects the expression of ideas as expressed in a tangible medium. Trademarks protect the consumer from confusion as to the source or origin of goods.

Trademark issues are the big area of exposure I see in vaping (although there may be utility and/or design patents on some of the actual PV devices - I haven't researched it). There are cases where a specific flavor applied to thread has been allowed as a registered trademark. If a specific analog manufacturer could show that their flavor had acquired "secondary meaning" within the marketplace, then they could theoretically try to claim trademark rights in the flavor.

The easier target for Big Tobacco is to go after juice companies using well-known brand names as the name of their juice. Some try to be subtle (i.e. Kamel, Rad Bull, etc.), and others just come right out and name their juice "'Camel" or "Marlboro."

Major trademark infringement issues with that practice. Given the commercial use of the trademarks and the intent to associate the juice with the trademark, there really isn't a fair use argument.

wow - that turned into a much longer lecture than anticipated. sorry...

I honestly feel like I've been waiting for Halo to restock for 3 months now. Maybe it's just been 3 months worth of taxes I've been staring at that have made it feel that long!

Oh well, I've never tried any of their flavors as they were out of stock once I found out about Halo, but I'm really looking forward to my first purchase. I used to smoke Marlboro Milds & I haven't been able to find a menthol that doesn't taste like a bag of mints. I'm at the point where I don't even expect any of these to taste like a menthol cigarette, but just the taste of menthol instead of mint is enough to make me keep searching.

After doing some careful research, I think I'm going to try the TruePure & Ice. I think I'll really like the Ice but just in case I love the menthol taste and it's not enough, here's the Pure coming through. I'm also throwing in a bottle of Freedom just because I've now found that my initial problem with e-liquid was that it was all too sweet, so once I found some (especially JC) that wasn't that way I've now grown fond of a more tobacco like flavor.

I really want to try Bella Vallencia but I've got a feeling it'll be more of a changeup than an all day/night vape like my menthol of choice and Freedom juice will hopefully become and don't think I can afford to just keep blowing cash on liquid I'm not regularly using. Plus, once I find which of the 3 I enjoy the most, I'll have something else to add on! :D

You're on the quest for analog menthol, you say? Order some Menthol Ice and some Bella Vanilla, and find the right mix of the two to suit your taste. That's the closest I've come to it. Before I tried BV, I thought that a mix of Harley56 and Menthol Ice was the best, but the BV works even better IMO. Of course nothing is ever gonna taste exactly like burning tobacco+1,000 additives - but this tastes even BETTER IMO.

Start with around 3 parts Menthol Ice to 1 part Bella Vanilla. If you want it more menthol, you will need to make your own menthol drops from crystals to boost it.

Edit: Hah, I see they changed Bella Vanilla to Bella Valencia...I had said before they should change the name because I never tasted vanilla in it....but I sure don't taste oranges either!

Re-edit: Oh and Harley56 is Torque56 now
