Thoughts after about an hour. 4.8v really brings out the flavor in sweet and high VG juices. Haven't put in any 3.0-3.2 ohm heads yet. So far no burns on the 2.2-2.4 heads. Definitely more vapor production, but flavors really seem to shine. Seem to be going through more juice.

I don't want to like it too much, given the stockpile of fixed batteries I have. I'd hate to have to switch over to all VV. I didn't really think voltage would make much of a difference, but it does. Even on tanks I refer to as 'lazy'- ones I've been using for a while without changing the heads; it's like they have come back to life at 4.8v.

Tried my first 3ohm coil. Quite a difference. At 4.8v., it always felt I was on the verge of burning with the 2ohm, so would only take a couple quick draws, but with the 3ohm, that concern is gone. The flavor is definitely brought out more at 4.8v. Have only tried with 1 flavor, though, as I only have 1 colored tank, until my order comes in this week. I may have to convert over to all VV batteries. Too bad they don't make a 400mAh version. That would probably fit in my VEA case; as it is, I'll keep using a pair of 650's for when I'm out and about.

So the VV isn't high drain like the standard batteries? Maybe that's why the taste seems better. They last a long time for being 900mAh, if that's the case. I exclusively used a pair all day and night yesterday, and neither drained completely. They had to be low, though, as they took quite a while to charge this morning. I was using them mostly at 4.3v. with tanks with the 2ohm coils. Definitely noticed more juice usage.

You would burn through more ejuice at the higher voltage.

Hmmm, the Triton twist should drain faster than the standard 900mah batteries - mine does, but no surprise there. If you are running it much above 3.7 volts, you won't get as much run time which only makes sense. The nice part is that you will get a more constant voltage throughout the run time (although there is a little fall-off according to my multimeter). The Triton twist just like the eGo twist uses a buck-boster circuit to supply more constant voltage at a given setting. This both drains the battery faster as well as making it slower to recharge.
