In the closet of my vaperoom. SC does have a strong smell fresh out of the bottle, but it does mellow after a couple days of open-air steeping. Wasn't sure about it when I first tried it, then loved it after a week. Ordered a 30ml bottle today. Definitely going in the daily rotation.

I love the fact that u have ur own vaperoom! :D

I recently bought this along with the Voodoo, Captain Jack, and Prime 15 from Halo. So far all I am getting is an odd overly fruity flavor, no tobacco, perhaps a hint of spice hear and there, and no vanilla. To me it tastes like pineapple, mango, papaya or some twisted version of juicy fruit gum. My office mate hates the room note and says it smells like over-ripe or near rotting mango. Anyone else having this problem?

I love Voodoo and it's dark complexity, Captain Jack is full on tobacco, and Prime 15 seems almost flavorless--just a hint of sweet and a decent throat hit.

Hi TanukiXL.

No, I don't notice an unpleasant room aroma with Southern Classic (unlike Midnight Apple, which, unfortunately smells like BO, but tastes so good). As far as the flavor, I get more of orange-lime-lime-tangerine with vanilla and light honey. After the bottle sits uncapped for 24 hours, and is well shaken, the flavor is a refreshing Mountain Dew with vanilla, or an orange creamscile, or when it tastes a bit boozy, like orange white wine spritzer with vanilla.

But I always get some vanilla, some days more than others. It's a refreshing blend that changes, but it is always juicy and thirst-quenchingly delicious.

Maybe it's just me but I think Southern Classic SCREAMS white grape as the dominant flavor. Tastes just like the little white grape cigars you find at convenience stores. (Minus the tobacco) It also tastes just like a white grape disposable I had once, only the disposable was better. Voodoo has a good dose of it as well. I'm trying to use up my sample bottle that has steeped for three weeks. I just mixed it with some Torque. As I type, my wife is now scolding me about the smell. Apparently this mixture is offensive to bystanders.
Weird how Halo juices are all over the spectrum for everyone. I am going through Tribeca and Torque like a '74 Chevy Suburban goes through gas. I just love them. Southern Classic, not so much.
Lol. I just took another drag and she is literally spazzing out on the other end of the couch trying to wave the vapor away. (She vapes Tribeca) You heard it here folks.
I just dropped another order for my favs today during the holiday sale and went ahead and added a bottle of Turkish. It's the only Halo Tobacco I haven't tried yet.

Voodoo has a prominent white grape flavor up front. Not so much in Southern Classic. It's all lemon-lime-orange-tangerine with the huge splash of Madagascar Vanilla... after the needed 24 hour caps-off airing out, the clove virtually vanishes (which is a good thing for me).

But that's the nifty thing about these last 2 Halo "tobaccos" -- they change and present themselves differently to many, but they are still darn tasty

Thanks for the review. I'm not much into vaping tobacco anymore but I'll have to give this a try.

Hi FranC!

That's okay, since Southern Classic (and Voodoo) doesn't have much noticeable tobacco presence and what there is of it comes off, to me, as more of a bakery note. It's just a refreshing, juicy vape.

Cool thanks. Not much into bakery either but refreshing and juicy sounds good.

I hadn't really read the flavor reviews before trying Southern Classic so I was surprised by it being so unique in its profile. The citrus is out front but the tobacco is there, just enough to satisfy. Halo is one vendor where you might not love the juices on day one, but you grow to appreciate them more and more as the weeks pass. This one is good right away though.

I have some Mr Vape Wild Peach Tobacco to try soon, Southern Classic is my foray into new territory. Refreshing and unique tobacco blends that offer a hybrid fruit and tobacco vibe.

Voodoo has the bakery note. Southern Classic is more citrus, thirst-quenching goodness. It's especially tasty when the vanilla comes forward.

Am late to the review but thanks jef. I've been mixing my Voodoo with not so satisfying juices I ordered so it's about time to re-order and I'm thinking Southerb Classic should be tried.

I'm learning that my budds lean towards the sweet rather than the harsh blends. MOV FVFRY4 and Southern Gentleman are very satisfying to me along with others of similar notes.
