Hana Mod DNA30 Clone

Well it seems as if china cloned its actual first dna mod, but I have reservations about this. Wondering if its actually a 1:1 clone of the evolve dna chip or its using the SX220 and the 30 watt chip now in production? So its it just a Hana look alike with essentially the gravity sensor Legend chip non sense?

From what I have seen with the company that provides the devices with the SX200 and 220 chips, they've offered data and videos of their product to person looking to pre-order.

it seems that this level of info has not been provided for this product.

Just wondering actually. I have seen them available for preorder directly from an Hcigar merchants catalog for wholesale supply. So its not just another photoshopped lie that seems to come out of alibaba links. I was just curious if anyone here knew anything.

There is a lot of discussion, some pics and a video in this thread. A lot is still up in the air about the chip being a 1:1 clone or not as well as the clone with the logo maybe being different from the one without the logo, etc. A bunch of us have ordered including myself and are just waiting to get them in, take pics and compare for everyone.

As long as it provides a smooth vape at 30 watts, who the frak cares who's clone she be's. But would be nice to know that it was the Evolv clone, so when or if it died, one could swap out and put a real 30 in there. Heck the price for this clone is worth it just for the box, switches, 510 connection and battery.

Good luck finding a chip. Pesonally I thought the same on the bang for the buck... Should have jumped on the $69.99 presale. I have eveything for my own DNA mod except the chip , of course.

I'm on the pre-order. Order #861. I was just putting together a shopping list for a DIY DNA30, but then this went up for pre-order. I figure if it is a dud, I can at least use the box for my own DIY mod. All indications are that it will be a decent mod though, so fingers crossed!

Elev8 also has a blog up on their site. They should be getting their mod to review any day, so I would watch their site for any updates. They said they will be doing a full review to discuss issues/rumors that have been going around about them like firing sub ohms and whether anodized or painted. Should be useful, they seem to be providing the best service of the 3 places you can pre-order in terms of communication. That's my $0.02 only.

The www . Elev8vape . Com / blog says they should get the tester tomorrow or Friday and get the video up shortly thereafter. Seems like it's already been shipped and they are tracking it online with the carrier, but the results are lagged. Either way, seems like it will be reviewed soon and they're even doing the silver, which is the one I got!!!

This page seems to indicate that they are actual DNA30s, but I dunno. There is a video of one of the guys from the manufacturer (Cloupour) supposedly demonstrating one although I can't really tell it from a real Hana one. Below the vid is an email from someone at the manufacturer to the vendor.

Ya, definitely not an Evolv chip. But still purported to perform like one!!

Really, mine was under $70. That's pretty cheap compared to any other DNA 30-type device.

I thinking that if reputable venders are offering the dna clone, then it most likely is happening. But will see. Wouldn't be the first time I bought clone garbage. But, if it fraking works, then I'll just vape it. lol
