I was using various rba's including kayfun. the aerotank says to run it over 5v. no way. the convenience means something to me. it is fine at 4.4v. I was getting burning with kayfun and Russian because I was pushing it too far. my own stupidity. that's why it is adjustable, I backed off.

this is ot: I prefer tips like that, solid acrylic. wrong juice tends to melt them I think the one on rpm's hana is a smok e mountain which oddly tend to hold up.

For now, the Russian 91 has me stymied. Received it in the mail today. I've since tried about 6 times to make a working build. Meter doesn't like it at all. My first thought was the center pin was too short, and didn't like the way the positive post was moving around. Was able to find how the extend the center pin, but doesn't seem to help. Going through 5 or 6 coils a day is not my idea of fun.

Can't figure out what's going on. I can build a setup for the Kayfun in less than 5 minutes, but most of my evening striking out for the Russian. Dag nab it!!

I am using a huge titanium tip my friend milled for me. it is getting too hot even. I think that should probably be a warning. I tried a delrin adapter but it does not want to fit in the kayfun. it barely fits the Russian. actually I think the Russian does work better with the hana but I am not sure yet. the taste seems better but the volume is less. I am a clouds of vapor king of guy. I could get more production with silica but I like how the ceramic lasts because I am old and lazy(j/k).

Interesting duo. I hope you're careful with your tanks. Only tank cracker I ever used was one with cinnamon. Man, that juice was good!

Yes. It's a mix of cinnamon red hots and mint. Not sure what type of mint though. Or ratio for that matter but its fricking good lol.

all of the rba's and clearos work at 5v+. I have to let them rest to suck more juice into the wick at that. best flavor and ability to chain vape is at like 4.4v for me. it is stupid that devices go to 30 or even 120 watts because at least I can't possibly use that. if someone can get a good deal on hana v1,v2 that is good enough.

battery is lasting fine now. charges in 45 minutes. I am glad I got the mini and I think it is great.

ot again, sorry. I love acrylic drip tips on it. they get cruddy and don't "feel" right to me. it is nice because with colored tank you can coordinate your whole thing. I have the gray hana, gray tank and gray drip tip. looks cool. I have to go back to stainless tip though. still looks good with stainless Russian. probably better in fact. my best tip is brass but I hate the taste.

speaking of taste. I never had taste this good on a mech. you can really "taste your juice"! in the words of someone else haha.

It's a Russian 91with a clear M tank.

I picked up the tips at a vape shop (MyVapez), in Herndon, VA while traveling this past week.

They have a bin with different styles and colors. I like that they're wide bore too.
I thought I recognized that DT. I have the same one and a green I got there. Like the DT but not a fan of the shop. They need to get some help there that is interested in providing CS instead of acting like they could care less you were there. I want to support local but they aren't getting anymore of my dollars.

Same with mine. I sent it back to MBV and they got it fixed from what they said. Should have back this week. Will pm you with note on what they did if it works.

I've got the same thing in Alexandria -- a B&M not that far from my house that I'd like to support. Their juices suck, and I think the employees seems to have no idea what the products are.

Got it working. It was, indeed, the center post. Not sure if you saw it when you had it, but the center post has a "screw within a screw". Detach the two screws, insert the first screw to tighten down the positive post and insulator, then insert the other screw into the first screw to adjust the connection to your 510 device. I had never heard of the screw within a screw before, but it's there and works. Sometimes I have to loosen or tighten a half-turn when I put it on my Hana, but works great now.

You get such good taste on a mech because your only drawing 3.7-4.0 volts. Not the 5v you set your hanna too.

Did MBV tell you what they did to fix it?

Yes, I had read several posts on this. I had tightened the middle screw and adjusted that center screw every which way. It would move on its own and screw in further when I placed on device. .

brek, probably true. the hana only goes down to 4v and would rather not be there(flashing). but it does go up to 8.3v! I imagine 8.3v can set fire just like the gi2 can. it's like a Porsche. just because it can go 200mph does not mean it is a good idea lol.

my Russian works. I knew about 2 part pin from mechs that have it. perhaps made in china? I hate to say that. I have had good things from there.

I think you're right -- everything I've read suggests it was made in China. Since I figured out what was going on with the center post it's been working well, but these tiny decks to build on aren't helping these old eyes, and I hate the screws in the Russian. I'm still not going to say the Russian is better than the Kayfun. The jury is still out for me.

some things made there are okay if they cost us $$$. the Russian is probably just like a kayfun clone and we pay $100 for it. it looks good but inside the posts and screws etc. seem cheap. honestly my best bet with the hana was the z-atty. with a flow ring and large titanium tip it defeated the whole purpose of the mini. I need it in my overalls pocket while I farm.

good farm implements have 12v power. 110v too. so I can plug in all day. the thing is it is not a real pass through. none are. if you kill the battery it has to charge some first. it will not run off the 12v with a dead battery. I just wish I could figure out a battery for it. I see one 4000mah but I am afraid. even though I know about electricity things can go badly wrong with that. I tried the battery pack but that was bs to me. the cord kept getting in my way. anyways if I don't chain vape at 4.4v it lasts about 6 hours for me now. I think I had to break in the battery. at first it lasted an hour. I am afraid to plug it in computer while I sit here. great way to blow a motherboard.

anyways if you can get a flow ring I think you would like z-atty. with the full hana and a nice tip it is going to be afoot long though.
I have some other high end rba's but I have not tried them on the hana. I too have trouble building at my age. I don't have Parkinson's but I am just a little wobbly already. small things are a chore for me now. that is honestly why I was messing with the aerotank.

the strange thing is the nautilus was great at first. then it hardly produced. then the aero tank behaved the same way! rba's are the only answer really. I would drip but that is no good while I am getting shook all around on a tractor.

oh, speaking of pass throughs that don't work this is ot again. there was a grizzly earlier today and I needed to call my neighbor and my phone was dead! I had to sit and wait for it to charge. by then the smart guy took off lol. when it finally did charge I was in a no service part of my land. oops.
