I actually have more power than you then. I thought you had a vtc5. the mini has a 1200mah li-poly which is equal in run time to a 2000mah li-ion. plus the li-poly charges in 45 minutes. the thing is I vape like a steam train.

you could get a vtc5. from what you have said it should last you a few days. on the other hand at 500ma it takes long to charge.

I just ran the Russian out of juice. yuko burnt taste.

sad right now. my hana bit the dust! just took off charger. full battery. fired once and screen went blank. nothing. that's it. can't revive it. any suggestions?

never mind. the hana is okay. phew! I ran the Russian out of juice and apparently killed it. I rebuilt it. not shorted per hana or multimeter. when on the hana it just goes blank when I fire it. weird. perhaps the Russian is typical Chinese quality after all.

that's odd. it was the pin in the Russian. I did not have a problem until you talked about it! weird thing is dna30 did not say shorted. it just died after I fired it. even with the atty removed. put good aty and back in business. how strange. anyways z-atty is still better for me.

edit2: if I screw the Russian down snug it kills the hana dead. nothing. blank screen. back off a little it works fine. weird. id think if it was shorted it would say so. maybe it is crushing the hanas pin. I don't know. I don't mean solid tight just snug. have to leave a tiny gap for it to work. I imagine that can't be god for the hana. probably typical Chinese junk after all. other atys don't do that to it.

Did MBV tell you what they did to fix it?

Here's the note I got. We'll see how it works when I get it back. I had put an extra o ring around that small screw to see if that would do anything to help screw from moving in which is why he commented:

I was the one that pulled this apart and essentially just cleaned it and made sure that there were no contact points where the screw could come into contact with the side. There will always be a small amount of variation with the resistance but usually it will be about .05 ohms. I use a dripping atomizer and when using it on my VTR there can be a variety of much more than that as the coil heats up. A warmer coil will generally get as much as .1-.4 ohms higher when warm because of things expanding and making contact differently. They will also gain a higher resistance as the coil gets worn in and have some juice burned to the coil. For this though I used the same coil you were using and just took the entire deck and base assembly apart and cleaned them and just reassembled. Any contact that can be made between the center firing pin and the side of that will will cause a short and make the readings just around. The double O rings that you had in there are generally enough to keep it from making contact but sometimes juice can get in there and block things off. Hope this helps, please do let us know if you would like any of this clarified.

The exact same thing I've experienced. When I first attach the Russian to the Hana, the screen goes blank. If I loosen the Russian by maybe a quarter-turn, it works perfectly. I could probably adjust the center pin to accommodate it, but if the problem is no worse than this, I can deal with it.

Is that the fill hole screw you're referring to? I've read where others have done that, too.

I got it back. Put it on the Hana and got the Check Atomizer message. Unscrewed the little screw and kept trying. Almost had it all the way unscrewed and still showed Check atomizer. The only device it works on is my Sigelei 20 watt. Worthless for me not being able to use on different devices. Sending them a note.

Finally got my Hana after a long, long, looong wait. It came, it looks superb - brilliant colors and a nice small device.

Unfortunately the 510 connection is so crocked that i cannot fit my dippers on it without grinding into the metal so now, it´s got to go back to France and i have to wait for a replacement from the states. *Sigh* I hope they are going to get som QC. at Hana´s at some point.

Scooter:

Rather than backing the screw out further, try loosening the atty a little. At least that's what worked for me with my Russian 91.

I've heard other reports of a crooked 510 connection. Hope you're able to get it sorted out quickly. It really is a great mod.

Let us know how it goes, and got my second Reo today. Traded a Woodvil for a LP Grand, and bought another Grand about a month ago. And you're right, it's a great mod.

I'll give it a try. Thanks. Just got my Reo today. Wish I would have gotten that a couple months back. Great little mod.

I bet I have a crooked 510 on it too! that must be why I scratched it. I did not even know. it must be just a drop crooked because the atty looks straight. enough to scratch it apparently. I don't mind that though. anyways I am sometimes by hana I could just pop in there. I think since I can do that better than calling them. I mean hana was nice but as soon as you have a problem these companies are known to blow us off. I still give hana the benefit of the doubt. they seemed way nicer than others.

okay, Russian is no better than a typical Chinese kayfun clone! darn china. stick with American or European stuff.

I don't dislike the Russian. Except for the fact I have to back it off the mod a quarter-turn to make it fire, it's fine. I don't have a KF clone, I have the authentic KFL+. Both the KFL+ and the Russian seem to be fine devices. I'm happy with both, and even happier if the Russian didn't have that small quirk.

well that's a pain. it is alright i guess. i just have to back it off until it fires. i don't think that could be good for the hana though.
i have a real kfl+ too and i think it is better. i like the z-atty best. that is also kind of a pain to use with the hana too. nothing is perfect. the hana is close imo.

i wonder if my battery is dying already. it goes to 3.5v now and does not flash. i have charged it 50+ times already. i hope hana will sell me an extra battery. there are 4000mah batteries that will fit the mini. you can only draw 1 amp from those. not a good idea. i guess if i stick with 4v it is okay but still a bad idea. i actually found about 4.4v is reasonable. 5+v is way too hot. just because it can....

Man, that thing leaks like a sieve! I can't wait to finish the juice and get that tank off of the Hana. That was an experiment gone bad.

I put my M-tank on the Russian today, and it doesn't cut out like it does with the full Russian. Works just like you'd expect. So, whatever is causing it is due to the Russian, apparently not the Hana.

so it does not even work? I mean I am saying watch out. dead shorting the hana can't be a good thing. even if you back it off it will eventually happen again. probably soon. seriously, you can have an explosion! I will not touch it to a mech mod now so I am done with it.

anyways a dripper is even better. you get less and less convenience the better vape you get. now the aero flodded so much for that idea. I guess if you really want the best experience we have to put effort into it. I am way less afraid of a build going bad than this scary russian
