guys, this is totally ot but you guys are very sensible so I thought id ask. i just dropped my atty 4 feet onto granite. i think i bent my beloved tip. the thing is no matter how i turn it it seems to lean to the right. so, does that mean i am actually imagining this/optical illusion?

sorry for ot. i am just glad i did not drop the hana with it. i almost did.

edit: never mind sorry. I used a digital inclinometer on a table then with the tip on the table. got the same reading to the 100th digit. you know it's like when you yell at a dog and then you think he is giving you dirty looks a week later lol. I mean I was mad I dropped it. thankfully not the hana.

Charging on a computer is fine, I do all the time and yes you can vape as soon as it's finshed - you can vape while it's charging if you like, it'll just take longer. The cord is fine but you can use any micro USB cable.

Thanks, I just thought that the advice I got about not using freshly charged batteries would apply to this as well.

the spec for usb is 500ma. the hana draws 500ma. therefore anything with a usb port will charge it. however watch out! if you have other devices on the same controller on a computer and it is not a very good computer you can blow the controller. any decent computer will throttle the power to it and it is fine. that of course means the hana is not going to charge very fast. it is not going to at a full 500ma either. that is why I picked the mini. I suggest to anyone to get a mophie.

I saw my hana do something odd for 1/2 second last night. it flashed "not ready". actually I thought that was cool. I suppose that is just one of the messages.
Thanks, I will just forego using a computer USB port most likely!

Great looking rig! What's the atty?

It's an Hcigar kayfun. Really liking it except for changing the wick every couple days!

Congratulations, tyoung! Don't sweat it. It's a great mod, and I hope you're happy with your purchase. It's still my fav device after about a month or so.

Somehow I completely lost my mind this morning and pulled the trigger on a V3. I saw it in stock on one of the dealer sites, and before I knew it, my credit card was out of my wallet and order was placed. Now I just need to eat Ramen for a month and sell a few pints of blood to pay for it!

I use a Sony VCT4. Plugged it into the Hana on the day I received it and haven't touched it since. Just charge it through the USB port and all is well. I splurged on the Pila 4-stage charger Best Rechargeable Battery Chargers: Pila Battery Charger & Pila Charger, but I'm sure there are many cheaper options.

Thanks! This will be my second DNA30 device. I have a Vaporshark which I love, but have always lusted after the Hana's.

Now I just need to figure what batteries and charger to get. (This is also my first mod that has replaceable batteries)

Wow! Hadn't thought to look at the banner, but you're right -- except you smoked quite a few more per day than I did, apparently. Congratulations to you!

The Sony is not button top, and apparently it doesn't matter in the Hana. The Hana, I think, typically comes with the charging cable. Mine didn't. When everyone else was out of stock a month or so ago, I sent Hyperion Vapes an email asking if they had any. The guy -- Ray, I think -- responded that he had one lying around and would sell it to me. Unfortunately it didn't come in the usual box and without a charging cable. Didn't matter as I had plenty of cables available, and the mod was flawless in red.

Thanks for the response! In searching the Sony batteries, I can't tell if they are button top or not, or does it matter for the Hana? Does the Hana come with a charging cable? I also notice in your sig banner that we are exactly one day apart in smoke free time, congrats!

might as well get a vtc5. you can find one for $8. you just need a mini usb cable. if you want a wall or car usb charger. you are not going to need an external battery charger.

I have to switch to a mech when my battery dies. the hana blows away mechs. provari, dawin too. I just wish the button was not small. it is a good button though. I use it so much I have guitar finger lol.

uh woops. I just realized I might have a "vaping problem" ya' think? my wife was 800 feet away at the tenants place. I had my window open. there is a powerful light outside my window. she came rushing over and said the house is on fire! i went out in the hall and already realized what was going on(guess). so i went outside and stood under the lamp. it is a huge open field. that's when i realized i might be enjoying this too much. well heck at least it is not tobacco. the weird thing is the smoke alarms do not go off but i think that is because they are the newer kind.

sorry for ot as usual i just thought this was, well kind of amusing i guess.

You little old cloud chaser, you! As you said, it's better than tobacco. Vape on!

Oh, good grief. I talked around it, but didn't quite explain why I said what I did to tyoung. If you're buying the battery charger just to charge the battery for your Hana, don't bother. Once you put the battery in the mod, you don't have to take it out again (at least until the battery wears out). Just keep charging it via USB and you won't have any problems.

I read some where once that the buttons on the Hana are rated for 1,000,000+ clicks. You should calculate how many clicks you go through in a day lol. If anyone could wear it out, it would be you Nic :)
