Hana Modz v3 - Full & Mini

It's been my experience that with a little effort, you can find most anything. Seems for some people it's a lot more fun to sit and whine rather than putting in the leg work. Glad you found one, and I know you'll enjoy it. It's causing quite the dilemma for me. I've got three other very popular on ECF mods that I'm seriously considering getting rid of. They just don't compare to the vape I'm getting from the KFL+-topped Hana.

Went in and picked it up before heading to work. Finish is great, straight 510, no issues with my vtc5. Love the vape I'm getting from this setup. I'm definitely looking at getting a clear wrap to protect the anodizing.

Ha! You got the red -- just like mine. Congratulations!

Great looking setup. Which tank is that surrounding your Kayfun?

Really glad I went with the red over the gunmetal I was looking at (no offense to gunmetal owners, I really was set on one myself). I figured everything I own is either SS or copper so why not go red?

Thanks, I can't put it down. Haven't even played with any of my other hardware tonight, just enjoying this too much. The tank is a svoemesto "Tall" m-tank.

Yeah, I think the red is really sharp. Good choice!

Tall tank looks good. I've seen it advertised before but didn't pull the trigger (or my wallet). I may have to reconsider that. Thanks.

Yep. I know exactly what you're going through. I won't mention the name of the mech mods I'm considering dumping. Heads will explode all over ECF. :p

I have the same dilemma. I have a lot invested in mech mods. I don't know if I should sell them now or wait until they may appreciate. they just don't compare to the hana.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I got mine at my local shop on an impulse buy. Glad I did. I'm going to look for a black one, next.. Maybe a different variant with adjustable airflow.

I'm glad somebody lives near a B&M that carries good products. I'll have to keep looking around. The one closest to me is pretty bad. Hope you enjoy it.

The vast majority of shops i have been in are terrible as well , there's a few that i know are trying to pass off clones but insist they are the real deal Hana , word gets around .

They certainly look great and the packaging is flawless but i knew something wasn't right about it , luckily i know a few guys who have been in the ecig business for years who said you really really got to be careful because they know quite a few people who paid considerable money and did not get the real deal Hana.

I despise shops like that

It really depends on how you vape. My drippers are built below .5 constantly, which works really well on my mech mods and I enjoy the flavor, density and warmth. I like that I can pop an atty off of one mod and onto another after some quick fiddling with contacts. To swap my RDAs between regulated and mechanical devices, I'd have to do some rebuilding to find that sweet spot, and then they'd have to stay on the Hana unless I want to rebuild them for a mech. Having multiple drippers wicked up with different flavors and ready to go is how I like to vape at home. For the most part, the kayfun is my go-to topper for both regulated devices in my rotation.

For others, a good regulated vape IS that sweet spot and there's no real need or desire to subohm.

The way I see it, hang on to the devices you enjoy most and don't sell anything you couldn't stand losing. You may find that urge to pick up one of your favorite mechs and just enjoy an unregulated vape.

I was thinking about that earlier. I never quite understood why someone would want a clone with the logo except to mislead someone. One guy said he wanted the logo to impress his friends. Okay, I can understand that, I guess. I'm afraid many of those who purchased logo clones did so with the hope they could rip someone off with them at a later time. I hope I'm wrong.

If I ever saw one of those in a B&M I would never, ever walk into that place again. I probably wouldn't be able to. I'd be too busy kicking their butts on yelp.

Panda, that's really good advice. I'm with you on the Kayfuns. I own 2 KFL+ and one Russian 91, and nothing compares on the Hana v3. I'll probably hang onto one mech as a travel/driving device.

I was told to hold on to the receipt just in case I ever want to sell mine. If buying from an individual instead of an authorized dealer, it'd be prudent to ask for some kind of authentication or proof of purchase. My unit came with a new style of charging cable that I don't think the clones come with (yet), so there's that too.

Mine didn't come with a charging cable, or actually even a box. One of Hana's authorized dealers had one left after some big show they had attended and apparently sold a bunch of them, maybe 6 or 7 weeks ago. Brand new, never used, but came without accessories. At that point, they were the only place in the world that had some. I certainly wasn't going to refuse it for a charger and box. I'm glad I got it, and considering picking up another.

But yeah, good advice. I expect there are going to be lots of problems related to the sale of these things in the future.

My local shop is actually S.S. Vape, a dealer for Hana, listed on their site. The RBA/RDA's are all clones there, but the Hana is the real deal. While they do carry them (when they're in stock) I didn't buy mine there. Of COURSE they got them in 2 days after I ordered mine online.

I noticed on most clones, if it does have the Hana logo, the logo itself seems to be slightly small and the letters underneath seem to be much shorter than the authentic.

And...they may have changed them in later versions, but in the early versions of the logo clones there was a space between the V and the 3. The authentic has V3, the clone V 3. I don't think the clones have the hole for the LED, either.
