K well I ordered the pink one anyways. While I was sitting on my hands I seen the stock count drop from 8 to 3 and could not contain myself any longer. Bet I will like it one way or the other. Thanks.
I think we are on the same page here I was just saying I can get about 45 minutes longer with my 5's then my 4's. And that's just a guess.

I have two VTC4's and two VTC5's and I enjoy what seems to be about 45 minutes to an hour longer on my 5's before I feel like I have to throw it on the charger. I'm running a .6 build with dual Nano coils and consistently vape anywhere between 23 and 27 watts. Hope this helps.

I ordered a clear carbon wrap for mine and to my surprise it arrived in 2 daysPutting it on tonight.
Mac, so what's the total amount of time you get with the VCT5 at that setting?
If I have a fresh VTC5 with that build on it and I'm just hanging out Vaping every couple minutes I can get upwards of 5 hours before I have to throw it on the charger. But that doesn't mean it's completely dead, just that IMO it needs to be placed on a charger. Now ive never timed it and I'm not saying it's an exact science (every 2 minutes take one vape) lol but it seems to last about that long with decent use.

I use purple Efests (3100mAh) in my Hana v3 and my clone and I get almost a full day out of them. Strangely tho, the clone's battery drains quicker than the Hana. Maybe the battery indicator on the clone is not as accurate. I haven't actually checked the voltage, I just plug them into a charger
I guess it depends on how much you vape. I have two now, and I have a VCT4 in each. In my first one at about 1.1 ohms, it lasts more than one day, but less than 2. I'm guessing the VCT4 is adequate, but of course, YMMV. Try it and let us know what you find out.
I've been vaping on my Hana for a bit over a week now (one of the vape shops in my city got an order in, and were kind enough to hold a black one for me for a week since they came in between paychecks. Shout out to the kind folks at Vape Central Phoenix Vape Shop (not a vendor just a happy customer, my "primary" vape shop is actually Vapor Vortex in Scottsdale - Phoenix Arizona Electronic Cigarettes | Joyetech | eVic | Innokin | VTR | Vapor Vortex but they have varying selections/brands).
Been using it with my Kayfun Lite Plus v2 @ 1.0 ohms, and my cheapie Smok Caterpillar RDA with a 0.55 ohm dual coil setup, and I've been blown away with the build quality, battery life (with a VTC 5 even vaping @ 27w-30w on the dripper, I've never gone below ~50% battery even chain-vaping for an afternoon), and the consistency and power of the DNA 30. I've also used an Efest IMR 30 amp (the 2100 mAH one that is I believe a re-wrapped vtc4?) with no difference over than a bit of battery life as expected.
I charge my batteries on a dedicated charger rather than inside the mod except when using as a passthrough, not because of any issue with the built-in charger but simply because if something should happen to go wrong, I'd rather destroy a $40 charger than my mod that cost me over 6x as much! I think having to deal with a couple screws once a day is worth the peace of mind.
Anyway I just felt like gushing over it a bit and offering the last bit about charging as food for thought.
You guys are great by the way...I'm dying to see a video of nic_fix crushing 30ml in one sitting.
I find it really strange that these aren't more popular and talked about here. I just read through 42 pages and most the posts there are from 2 people...mekereid and nic_fix!You guys are great by the way...I'm dying to see a video of nic_fix crushing 30ml in one sitting.
Anyways, I can't believe more people aren't raving about this mod. I guess it comes down to a few possibilities:
1. Mechs are currently the most popular thing on the market.
2. The great majority of the vaping world is cheap (they really are) and happy with clones. Personally, if I carry something with me all day, everyday, (gun, knife, wallet, mod) I get a lot of pleasure knowing I'm carrying quality. I guess I just like shiny things that perform reliably.
3. That lawsuit really ...... a lot of people off. I for one respect intellectual property and would sue in a heartbeat if my property was stolen in such a manner....even if it is "just a logo". Hell, the maker of the TOBH just completely changed his logo because of Chinese cloners, and that's bullcrap, imo.
4. Scarcity. These mods have been extremely rare and hard to come by these past few months.
These are just my ideas. But yeah, so I ordered a Polished V3 and I'm looking forward to it. I used a provari for 2 years straight, just dripping on those 8 dollar attys, because carto tanks were so awful back then. Now that I'm getting into rebuildables and tanks have evolved to the point where they are actually great, it'll be fun to push the amps up higher than the old provari can handle, and get that regulated experience at higher wattage. Now, if only I could find a skin I like.![]()
Yep, I ordered the same one. I have one on my red, so ordered another for my blue. It's been about 9 days now. Did you order from Jwraps?
IMG_20140707_180812 by XxNitr0x, on FlickrI ordered from Vapor Skinz. I decided not to use it, because I either royally screwed up the installation or it wasn't cut exactly correct. I lined up the front screen perfect and when I went to wrap the rest around the side, there was still about an 1/8 inch gap down the entire body exposed. The very top piece wasn't perfect, either.. I may try one from jwraps, I'll think about it. I love the feel and look of the raw body.
On another note, here's my new black KayFun lite clone from EHPro. Don't mind the dust on the Hana, I didn't notice it when I took the photo.

I have had my gunmetal V3 for almost two weeks, and I love it. I have a VTC 5 in it, which is quite an amazing battery. I run carto tanks that are about 1.6 ohms and usually have it set at 10 watts. Battery seems to last forever.
