We have a place at the beach, but I can't stand to walk on it, let alone put my feet in the water. Too dang cold! LOL
Now Florida I like ... everyone has a pool, nice and warm. The occasional swirly things don't bother me, had a Super Typhoon (Paka in '97) come right over our house in Guam. I would just drive to Tennessee or something. :)

I don't care for the swirly things, during Andrew tons of people went to homestead to get out of andrews way and that is exactly were it hit. I don't miss draining the pool and all the other stuff to get ready for them... besides I like knowing I am going to have a roof on my house tomorrow! We went back to visit Florida 2004 when they had several bad hurricanes in a row. When they were over we drove by our old house and it was without a roof! Other then that Florida is pretty cool, it does get a bunch of rain, but after a hot day it is welcomed. My real issue with South Florida, it just was not where or how I wanted to raise my children, so we got out shortly after the first one was born!

I lived in Washington and Oregon..nothing like Montana..super cold there.

Yup, we have at least one week out of the year that we hit the negative 30 degrees or colder.

Yeah, we don't freeze, we rust.

I like the rain as long as it isn't too cold of a day.

Great song, I love me some Neil Young :D

Neil Young crashed my browser 3 times, I didn't get hear to it! Oh well, sure i have it on my Zune somewhere!

Only two hours left to get in those Mad Libs in!

We have looked into anodizing and it does not cost much, question would be what colors? The ones we have coming from the machine shop on Tuesday are just shiny polished ones.

The closest match you can get to brass would make me VERY happy.

Just ordered my first PG tank late yesterday. Still debating on whether to order a custom steampunk-ish design, but the one I ordered looks like it will go well with my Root Beer Buzz. ...

I got tired of paying the pool guy, and decided I could do it myself! Turns out keeping it at the right chemical balance isn't as easy as it looks! I got it down eventually and shortly after I did I decided to have the pool guy come back! Guess there was no more challenge.

Now we have a private lake and not only can we swim in it, we can boat, fish and in the winter ice skate! Our labs love it too! Best part is mother nature takes care of it and we don't have too!

We don't let them in the house until they dry off. We have a small fenced area in our back yard for drying off. But heck with four dogs, a hedgehog, a parrot and 2 kids ... it really would not make a difference! Besides they have been fetching balls in that lake since they were puppies. They used to stop and take a rest..... now they will jump off the dock and swim the entire 30 acres of the lake to retrieve a ball! The beagles however sit at the beach area and watch!

Hi Moorea, I've been looking at your tanks and am very interested in purchasing one as soon as I see one that really catches my eye. I have a question for you. I see that the Tall Boy fits Dual Coil Cartos from Madvapes but is this an XL Carto? Also, do you plan on making a wider selection of the Tall Boys?

The cartos we got to test for the larger tanks were the Dual Coil Carto from Madvapes, The Resurrector and the IKV MEGA KR-808 & Phiniac XL Tank. The DC from mad vapes just barely fit into our XL tank but it was a the smallest bit too small, the top of the tank was pushing up against the inner o-ring of the cap. We decided the size we had been working with for the lava caps would be a better fit for the dual coil from mad vapes. The carto itself is only slightly smaller then the Resurrector. But that difference was a big one in the tank/

For a better idea of tank sizes and cartos we have some good pictures on this page:

Tank Sizes & Cartos - Phiniac Glass

And if you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see links to individual close ups.

We are going to be adding some more tall boys to the site soon. Our immediate plans are for 2 clears and two decorated. If those sell as fast as the first two that went up, then we will start making them in greater numbers.

What do you think as far as design goes might "catch your eye"

OK we can't decide and we have two winners so two lucky people will get a free tank of there choice from the available tanks on the website. This week winners were matadorx yes I know he already won once, but hell he is good at this and I think he might be a mad libs ringer. We have to think good and hard before we let him play again next week! (JK) The second winner this week was RippleInStillWater I am still laughing here....

I am going to post their winning submissions in a second and start emailing out the others. Please note this Mad Libs for this week was a list called Unused Song Titles. There were ten songs listed and they all did not need to be funny, the person (in this case people) with the most funny lines won. When I post them I will highlight the lines that made us laugh the hardest.
