I dont think its boring either. I've never used 801 fusions. Why do you choose them over the Boge 510's?

When I said it was long and boring I was talking about the PM I sent ripple! Trust me you would have been snoozing half way through, I was rambling on about slotting vs. punching vs drilling and why I like my fusions better.

There is really very little difference between the fusion and boge. The fusion has a slightly tighter hit then boge and I like the tighter hit better (and the difference is very little) the fusions and the boge last about the same amount of time, but now and again I get a fusion that will just keep going and going to the point I have forgotten exactly how long it has been in. I have a Buzz pro with an 801 top cap and and infinity pro with a 510 top cap, so I can use either a boge or a fusion without an adapter. Because the fusion is a male connection its sits much lower on the Buzz and has a cleaner look. Finally, I like the fusion on a tank because the threaded end on the fusion is a little larger then the carto, the tank sits on it and it prevents the tank from sliding down. Throw a wide ming drip tip on top and you are guaranteed zero sliding. That being said, the Phiniac tank slides less then any tank I have ever used.

Bottom line, if you do not have a PV with an 801 connector and do not want to use an adapter, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a boge. Unless you really like the tighter draw of the fusion (which isn't that much tighter). The fusion does last a bit longer now and again, but the boges are priced better.

Yep ... Enquiring Lizards Want to Know!

I assume they require an adapter for 510 mods? Got any pics of how they look on said mod w/ tank? How long are they lasting?

... And .. do they enjoy long walks on the beach and the color blue?

I have some pictures, I will post them later. And who does not enjoy long walks on the beach!

No, there will not be much slide on a boge. I hardly use my infinity. In all honesty I do not even know where it is at the moment. I love my BP and use it all the time. There is no difference between the BP and IP other then form. They use the same electronics inside. So it comes to down to which feels better in your hand. My first VV was a BP and in my opinion it feels better in my hand. It is a little shorter then the IP but the IP is thinner then the BP. I like the fact the BP is a bit shorter and the weight and the width of the BP feels more substantial in my hand and is more comfortable to hold. It might just be because by the time I got my Infinity I was used to the BP. As for the sneaky pete, it is a better mod to throw in your pocket and easily conceal, I also like the fact that it is handcrafted!

Edit: I also think because of the thinner form factor of the IP, a tank fits better on a BP... Nit that they don't work on an IP, they work fine, but on a tank on a BP is less top heavy, better balanced and a BP is almost the same width as a tank, so in my opinion just looks and works better.

OK here is a picture from some product shots I took for Mike (notcigs). When shooting the photos I decided to include a few with phiniac tanks on!

tanks-comparison.jpg

And here is a closeup. From left to right, the first is a phiniac tank on a Buzz Pro with an 801 top cap and a fusion. The second is phiniac tall boy on a Buzz Pro with a 510 top and a boge. The third is a phiniac tank on a Buzz Pro with fusion again. As you can see from the photo, the 801 top cap with fusion has a much lower profile.

My Phiniacs don't slide much at all on the Boges .... sometimes I really have to give a good push to get them to slide up to refill from the top.
My only thing is that when I slide the tank up just enough to squeeze my needle in, the punch in the cartos seems to be right at the level of the lower o-ring, so it leaks a tich. I gotta be fast.

Hey - that's a mighty fine looking Tall Boy tank (I have one just like it! LOL)
