Back in the good old days when cigarettes didn't cause cancer, and you could still hang one out the side of your surgical face mask, people used their non-preferred hand to smoke. This left your preferred hand to do things while you smoked.

With e-cigarettes, has anyone reverted to the non-preferred hand?

I am left-handed and I usually smoke left-handed. So, far I still do so with my e-cig, though I must admit I've only tried it out whilst playing computer games (I have my right hand free for the mouse!).

I've always smoked right-handed (I am right-handed), and I still do with my 901 and my penstyle. I use my left hand for the kissbox though as I seem to be much more comfortable using the manual switch with my left.

I smoke cigarettes with both hands... one in each hand (well, maybe that's happened once or twice... but I was kidding ).

Anyway, I use both hands indistinctly for smoking, also for other things, although I am right-handed for writing and precision matters.
I guess it'll be the same with e-cigs... but if it's different I'll let you know

If I'm not actually doing anything, I smoke right-handed. If I'm doing something, left-handed (Or just hold my 901 with my lips if I'm typing, like I'm doing now).

i am right handed but also keep keys and things in my left pants pocket.. ??

I'm right handed. Hold cigs in my left hand almost always. Right hand is for the steering wheel. I have to smoke while I drive. I'm used to keeping the cig close to the car window so the car doesn't fill with smoke.

I can hold a drink with either hand, but I could only hold a cig with my right hand. That changed a few years ago when I broke the little finger on my right hand. I managed to adjust.

I do all precision things, except cutting and using the mouse, with my left, and all things that require strength with my right (I am not sure a lighter needs strength, but that is a preferentially right-hand activity, too). I consider smoking or vaping a precision thing, for some reason, although I can do it with the right hand, too. But it feels "wrong"....

I believe that the exceptions listed above have to do with the fact that I did not have left-handed scissors while growing up, my knife was always set on my right, and I started using PCs that were in the university and had the mouse set up for right-handed users.

I write left handed, smoke real cigs right handed, oddly enough I vape left handed, and do virtually everything else right handed - including playing guitar. They even put me in the dreaded "left handed writers" corner by myself in 1st grade - corksukers
