PC Term of preference for your habit

What do you feel is a preferred or more appropriate term for using e-cigs?

Do you like:
Personal Vaporizer (PV)
Electronic Vaporizer (EV)
Electronic Cigarette/e-cig
or (fill in the blank)

Also, what do you prefer for the action of using the product?

Vaporizing
vaping
Puffing (on my e-cig)
Smoking

Does anyone here who successfully converted to electronic vaporizers (longterm) feel this terminology is not an appropriate way to describe what you do when people use the word "smoking" or "smoking your fake cigarette"?

I call it a flavor vaporizer when I don't want to get into any discussion about using it. However I do try hard not to draw attention and don't exhale vapor in public. I figure it's nobody's business if I have nicotine in it or not.

I just call it an e-cigarette and let the chips fall where they may. And actually, when I say that more than a few people respond positively to it, especially the ones who got ripped off trying one they got in a mall. Gives me a chance to be helpful, and point them here to ECF.

To me, I love my peevee (pv) coz I love vaping. Vaporizing sounds like killing some with a death ray or something.

I call it a PV, E-cig or sometimes I just say I'm sucking on my battery. The last usually leads to questions and I usually end up taking it apart for a show and tell.

I prefer the terms "vaping" and "PV/personal vaporizer", but I'll tell people who see me using a mod that it's like an "e-cig" (even though I hate that term) just because most laypeople these days have an understanding of what it is since they're becoming more popular and are showing up on TV shows and in movies.

Also, I have no problem exhaling vapor in public and answering questions about my PV if the need arises.
