buy long 2" or bigger blunt tip needles . Thats a MUST imo . It helps me a lot since the longer needle can reach deeper into the bottle so your hand will be further from the nic . Less chance of accidentally touching the lip of the bottle and getting nic on you . Keep a bowl of water next to you so as soon as you use the nic you can suck up water to dilute the nic on the syringe to a safer level and then head to washing it off in the sink . You may want to dilute the nic down to 50mg when you get it as well .50 is very workable too.

Just be CAREFULL and you shouldnt ever run into a issue . Also always work on a solid surface where if a drop spills it wont saturate into the table and also have a solid area for less chance of tipping the bottle over .

Lastly open the nice while at that step and close the bottle right after you use it . Less time opened = less chance of pulling a BP(British Petroleum) lol

I'd suggest getting some of these.....

Pierceable Screw Caps - MyFreedomSmokes.com

This is EXCELLENT news! Hats off to Chris for providing septa (what they are called in chemistry, singular is septum). I use glass bottles with Eurodropper inserts, which are a non-spill plastic insert with a center-hole that can be pierced with a needle. Same idea. Kudos to Chris.

Amber European Dropper Bottles - Specialty Bottle

Either of these will allow syringe dispensing with protection from spills, other than the bottle breaking from a fall. You really MUST use a syringe for 100 mg, since drop sizes can vary, and variance in 100 mg can make a juice WAY too strong very easily.

I contemplated getting some off these a few weeks ago but was unsure how they will hold up using a 14 gauge needle. The needles I use now are blunt tip just for safety reasons but could easely get sharp ones if these Septa would hold up. Just don't want a false sense of security.

The first thing I would do is add more PG or VG or the combination you want (80/20) to reduce it to 10mg above what you use in a completed juice. So if you use 18mg juice I would cut it to 28mg. So if you had 100ml of 100mg you would add 257ml of PG to it for a total of 357ml of 28.01mg juice. Much safer to handle. That way even with 20% flavoring you will not go below 18mg. Your max would be 35.74% flavoring added to 28.01mg juice to make 18mg flavored juice. Though I doubt you would go that high of a flavoring pecent.
I always reduce the mg strength of high nic juice immediatly. I do not like having it stored in the house in high concentration levels. Call me paranoid.

100 mg/ml nicotine requires a healthy respect. You and I might be tolerant to a certain amount of nic, but those that are non users are much more susceptible, children even more so. Toddlers can become very ill when exposed to just a couple of mg. I have grandchildren, nieces & nephews that I'm extremely attached to and do not take this stuff lightly.

I think if you pierce the septum once with a sharp needle or large thick pin, the blunt needle will be able to get through.

I use 17 or 18 gauge blunts for my DIY, and the first time you use the eurodropper insert, you have to really force it through the center hole. After that it goes in easily.

SO a 14 would be too thick ? I use VG nic base so 14 or 15's i use most . Im guessing it seals itself back up after use right .I wanted to try it ever since i seen them using it on the discovery channel in a lab .

I know i can make a blunt sharp obviously (a blink of the eye on the bench grinder) lol but i would rather not if i dont have too .

Lol…. When I read that, something else pops in to my dirty mind.. lol, but I’ll keep my comments to my self… haha

I agree with scubabatdan… I don’t like having 100mg nic sitting around… I don’t even buy it any more… I only buy 36mg now… I did a cost comparison, and after diluting 100mg down to 36mg, the cost difference if very minimal…. BUT when I did order 100mg in the past, I took the bottle OUTSIDE, and poored it in to a large 1 L bottle. Then I poored in a plain pg/vg mix, and shook it up. Now I have a 1 L bottle of 24mg nic juice. I thoroughly cleaned out the empty 100mg bottle in the sink and thew it away. Even after doing that outside, and wearing gloves, I got a little nauseous and light headed, so that’s why I don’t mess with it any more.. (I must of got some on me or something..)

Would a safety pin work to get it started? I could use some bottles like that.

This seems similar to the CE2's I use. I use a tiny blunt to refill them, but the liquid doesn't leak out of the puncture afterwards, even with the PV upside down UNLESS I overfill.

Better safe than sorry.

Also, if, for some reason, you do not want to dilute the entire quantity of nic, you can prepare your pg/vg mix and then know exactly how much nic you need to add. This way you work with a very specific purpose, minimize open bottle times and probably reduce the number of items that come in contact with the nic. In any case, this works for me.

My other golden rules are:

1. Absolutely nothing that can cause a distraction in the room. Phones are off, pets are removed etc.
2. Everything gets a thorough rinse before it leaves the area
