sorry sedge and everyone. I got you guys all set now, and can work on any others. Just bear with me. I work full time as a letter carrier and can only work on these after work and on sundays, but I am getting better at turning them out so turnover times should pickup. Switching to smaller o-rings and new CA finish.

Im glad you like it. Im sorry though, I size the bottom part using various cartos to make sure they fit the various size cartos but its too long to sit fully in the tank cartos. If you want to send them back, I can probably shorten the bottom so it will sit better. Free of charge of course.

Is there a current list of available wood?

Currently in stock : Bocote, pistachio, cocobolo, paduak, purpleheart, spalted hackberry, poplar, walnut, pistachio, bloodwood, ebony, zebrawood, canary, yellowheart, bubinga....and I might have some others. I just spit them out from memory. I also have a few more already turned tips in the composite line , same as sedge's. Windy...you will be getting an invoice tomorrow, I just finished the final fitting on yours and will finish them fully tomorrow and get them out to you hopefully by monday.

And for those of you who may have questions on the finish...I have seen some other vendor's "new" wood DT's and saw posts questioning the finish and durability and safety. I use 2 kinds of CA glues to finish them. A very thin CA glue (superglue)is applied and allowed to soak into the wood to harden the wood. Then I use a particular brand of CA glue designed to be extra resistant to wear, crazing and provides better impact resistance in case you drop it. CA glue is an acrylic resin compound that sets in the presence of moisure. When fully cured CA is nontoxic ( there are even certain CA glues specifically made for closing suture wounds) I use at least 5 coats on the harder woods and up to 12 for the really soft or spalted woods. The finish on these will last a long time with the exception that the bottom where the o-ring is could be worn away gradually as you insert and remove it over and over. BUT....I'll make anyone who purchases a tip the offer that if they do wear away their finish they can send it back to me and I will refinish it again free of charge. The only other problem that can't be helped is that despite the kind of glue I use to finish it, if you were to drop it hard or repeatedly it could develop "clouds" where the wood underneath gets dented and the glue separates from the wood. This I can also refinish for you free of charge but I might have to reshape the tip slightly... hope this makes you all feel a little better about what you are vaping on.
