So I finally got a Sub-ohm set up at 0.5 ohms on a magneto/igo-w combo with a MNKE 18650 battery. I feel as though I'm only getting 1-1.5 hrs tops of good vape time on this setup. Is this normal? I find myself constantly switching out batteries and charging one while I'm using the other. I was hoping that it would last me for quite some time, but it isn't. Is anyone in the same boat as me? Thanks, and Merry Holidays to you guys on the forum. I learned a lot while being here, and I'm always looking to learn more.

After the 1.5 hours how low is the battery. Throw a multi meter on it and see. It's gonna drain faster since your raising your amps. Mine usually lasts all day. You will see decline in performance as you use it. The price of sub ohming. Lol. When my battery gets low and I wanna kick a big ... cloud I just inhale faster and harder and longer.

Also the higher amp batteries are usually lower mah so your life on one charged battery is gonna be lower anyways compared to like a 2200 or even 3400 mah.

I was using my friend's multimeter, and do not have one of my own. Stupid that I don't have a multimeter for this, but I do know I'm getting one for xmas. I just switch them out when performance gets low because I don't want to risk it. If it helps any, I chain vape as well. Your battery lasts all day on a 0.5 ohm? What battery are you using?

Yeah it's amazing how pitiful the vape gets when one gets down to a mere 23 watts. I am using the Sony 2100 mah 30 amp batteries, and usually get through a day at work on one battery, but switch off with my Provari every other break. Usually my charge is around 3.7 volts when I swap it out. Using the AW 18650 2000 mah on the Provari and they don't last any longer when the change battery light comes on, but am pushing the P at max watts. The AW's are usually closer to 3.8 volts when the Provari rejects them. So am getting about 1.5-2 hours of vape time on both mods.

Ahh remember the days of being satisfied with vaping at 8 watts and an 1100 mah battery lasting a full day and only using 4 ml of juice?? Now I use three times as much juice and go through 3 times as many battery swaps. So I guess it all comes out the same. lol The price one pays for reading this forum and becoming an advanced user. But hey have been smoke free for 8 months now so it is all worth the price of admission.

i don't think you are risking anything.......the lower the battery get the lower amps your pushing.....LOL.......not by much but it doesn't raise it at all though at the same time.......

but yeah thats the price of going low......i used to get 2-3 days on a freshly charged AW 18650 on a 1.3 ohm coil.......now i usually push around .5 so its only a day at best
