Thank you friends!! The pics made for a ton of giggles
Moo, my vulture doesn't ask...just steals them. He's been awake all day and making our day miserable. Usually he sleeps all day and is up all night so we don't have to deal with him as much. MIL got up at 6am and he was gone in my car. Shows up hammered at almost noon (I'm sure he was already in that form when he left in the wee hours). He was in even sadder shape when I got home from the grocery store this afternoon, and he took the car and left again. Whaddya gonna do? <shrug>
I had one vulture who would have just stole them! He was a long time family friend that I was trying to help for about a decade. I made the mistake of thinking if we brought him here from South Florida it would be easier for him to escape his demons. He lived in the apartment in my Moms barn for 8 years before my Mom booted him and in my basement for 3 years after that. When I twisted my ankle he was in rehab where he spent 9 months. After 3 decades of friendship and 11 years of taking him on as my own personal project, I finally had to kick him out last February. We went
through it all, stolen pills when the hubby broke his back, borrowing the car to run to the corner which turned into 3 to 5 days of him and my car disappearing, he even banged up my car more then once! I tried, but the kids were getting to old for that influence in the house. He kept in touch for a few months but stop calling last April. I often wonder if he is dead or alive. He was one of the most talented artists I have ever known, he could do anything, carving, drawing, tattoos, wood burning, furniture building... anything! It was a true waste, when he was sober he was incredible.
The vultures that where present when I messed up my ankle would not have stolen, just pestered me.
