OMG, I have been so busy, I am physically exhausted. One of my customers is getting ready to go to their biggest trade show, so they have been having me make posters, signs, etc, into the wee hours of the morning for the past 10 days. And of course without thinking we are trying to launch the sandblasted tanks in the middle of that, which is requiring a bunch of time programming the website (if I see another line of code I might puke) coming up with and testing designs. Throw in everyday life with 2 kids, 4 dogs, a hedge hog and a husband (we no longer have a lizard, he died a few days ago) and I am at the very end of my rope!

I hope you really wanted to know how I was and not just asking to be polite, because if you were just being polite, my answer might have been too long

I like it!! I don't know if that means much though. I watch a bunch of shows, but the story line is good enough that is one of the few I really look forward to.

Not even close. Our Internet has been a major thorn in my side for a long time now. I guess I should be happy because when we first got here the only option was dial up and then a few years back we finally got DSL. But we are so far from the box, it makes it really slow and apparently it does not provide enough bandwidth to all the houses that use it. We are pretty much the last house in the line uses that box so it seems that we get the left overs. If I lived a few miles closer to the highway we would be on a box that offers faster DSL, but nobody cares to upgrade the box we use.

Worst part is that my husband does some free lance work for our internet service provider and they have an option that would offer internet that is faster then most DSL. It uses radio waves and is really fast. For years they have been saying they would set it up out here, but never seem to get around to doing it.

Sounds like the phone company that keeps telling us they'll get internet service up here on the hill but never do.

Fran, ask your phone company about an ISDN line. When I lived in the boonies and discovered how bad my satellite internet connection was, I went to ISDN. It's old school but it was solid and far better than satellite. It might be an option to investigate
