Moo, Beans is a Buzz sister of ours, she doesn't post here as often as we do tho...I think she actually has a life ;) She's turning veteran today!

Do you mean to tell me there are people that do something other then this??? I'll have to research that, is there a forum that discusses these people :p

Ok, "Touch" is a keeper! Now I remember why I quit watching series' on TV tho...dang all those commercials

No spoilers, I won't be watching it until I go up to bed.

The commercial are why I refuse to watch anything on live TV.

While direcTV is not a luxury we can afford, we still pay for it. We have no choice! We are so far in the middle of nowhere TV antennas do not pick up a single and they do not offer cable here, so satellite is our only option. Considering we rarely drive the 45 minutes to a restaurant and all meals are home cooked and we are too far from town to rent videos and our internet is too slow for streaming I would go crazy without being able to at least watch TV. The benefit of the DirecTV is DVR is part of our package, so I DVR anything I want to watch and fast forward through the commercials!

Well Moo you're farther from a resturant than we are. It take's us 30 minutes to get to one.

We are actually 45 minutes from the closest grocery store, if you want to go to an OK restaurant it would be closer to 50 - 60 minutes!

Having a DVR is an extra expense for us, Cox cable is gonna squeeze every penny they can out of you. When we lived in Fl. it was included in the hi def package with Comcast and it sure spoiled me.

It is likely an extra expense for us as we have a pretty big package. But as far as I concerned it is a necessity, we don't even get a radio station here. If I did not have my direcTV with a few extra bells and whistles I would lose my mind. But we save SO much money the way we live compared to when we lived in South Florida and are likely so much more healthy for it (ie: fast food is a rarity) I think it is worth it!

Bov, I enjoyed Touch very much. I didn't realize it won't start again until march! That is a long wait!!! But the previews looked worth the wait!

Will you be starting Dexter any time soon? I am curious to see what you think about. Some of the other characters are bit cheesy, but Michael C Hall makes it worth it!

Are you still watching Harry's Law?

I know...I wanted to punch the TV last night when they said March LOL.

I haven't started watching Harry's Law or Dexter yet. A lot of the weird shows I watch are new episodes right now. And weird meaning A&E's "Intervention" (like I don't have enough addiction issues to deal with at home!) NatGeo's "Taboo", and a couple of others.

Wow ......I don't watch that much TV. Are there any good TV series out on DVD? I mean outside of SOA.
Supernatural is good and on DVD. The 4400 is good to.

Comcast is now changing their service, again, to force customers to use a cable box for every TV. That means cable splitters are no good soon.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu...

Oh well, I guess that gives us an excuse to get a HD box with DVR.

Supernatural is very good, and I still can't believe they cancelled 4400. It was a good show, but I don't think I would suggest it on DVD as it will kind of leave you feeling like there was no end or explanation (as there was not) same thing with The Event!

Anyone catch Alcatraz? Any good?

I watched it with the hubby, but I was working on the computer so it was more background noise then anything. What little I caught, it seemed OK and the hubby seemed to be enjoying it.

I am going to try to watch the premiere again and give it my undivided attention as I like Sam Neill!

of course you can! :p

On a side note, I have to put Supernatural into the little dog category, just can't picture you watching it. I have a list of shows I watch when the hubby is sleeping and that is one of them! But I love all things vampire and supernatural so there is a list of shows I have watched that are pretty cheesy, but I love. Buffy, Angel, Vampire Diaries etc. Maybe I just put Supernatural into that category because it is on the CW as well!

Mark I watched it too, it does have potential. I usually don't depend on the first couple of episodes to make up my mind, some shows take a little time to evolve for me.

Moo, I watched the first 2 episodes of Dexter tonight, see comment above LOL. I actually love the character of Dexter (he's sick and twisted enough for me) but the show itself is a bit slow. I'll give it more time :)

Mod, we've always had to have a cable box for each TV. Cox is...well...a bunch of cox ;)
