The comedy on House is not silly at all. It is mostly all serious drama. Occasionally a character says something funny as just as people do in real life and it is usually very funny and witty when they do!
Well if that is what you walked away I would say so! I tend not to watch previews or commercials so I don't know that I have ever seen one for House.
Maybe someone else who has watched House will speak up and give their opinion, but the last thing I personally would never classify house as is Silly or Comedy.
So this is a bit off topic but I wonder what happened to kellie?? The last time I ever saw her post was during the flooding. I hope her and lox are OK!

One of the things I like most about Dexter is that it lets me vicariously live in a way that is sooo wrong, for all the right reasons! If I were a serial killer I would be killing the same scum of the earth that Dex chooses

Well I don't know if you will like it or not, I am only saying it is far from silly!
I am not sure what shows you do like as unless I scroll back too many pages to the best of my memory we have only discussed shows you will be watching! So what shows do you like? What are some of your favorites?
Well SOA of course. Hubby and I both like action movies. For TV its NCIS,Law and Order and such. Blood,guts,car chases.
Well I knew about SOA of course, but based on the other shows you might like House. Not much on the blood and guts, occasionally you see some during a surgery or in the ER and every great now and again you see the accident that brought them there or someone spewing blood through various orifices. Usually when house figures out what is wrong with the patient while he is explaining the camera breaks from him and you get really cool inside views of what he is explaining.
The characters and their interaction are extremely well written. The Australian doctor provides a little eye candy (and an accent to boot) And it has won many awards and has been nominated for well over 100 awards since 2004:

I'd say give it a try! We started watching it in 2006 and while other shows have come and gone it is one of the few that we look forward to watching year after year. I think this will be the last season though!

You know Moo we just watched Law and Order SVU tonight and there wasen't a bit of blood, guts or car chases and it was a good episode (actually one we hadn't seen). So I guess a good drama can stand on it's own.
Did you do it?? Did you google hunnam+a**+collage in images??? I switched that photo to my desktop background, it is driving the hubby crazy!
Hubby keeps asking me why I set that as my desktop image... I just told him "I like the tattoo!"
